@mmogamerlover I made this since I didn't want to spam with new threads after each CF update (you know how frequent they are), and I'll be updating it from time to time...well, theorethically at least, I can't guarantee that.
It's something anybody can do, of course - by just checking Crowfall news page (Crowfall site --> Articles --> News).
"Maeve swore to end the Earth Mother, and—even in the wake of Gaea’s death—seems tireless in her efforts to destroy her. The waves are her troops – an eternal procession of soldiers sent to assault Gaea’s domain, to crumble rock and stone and pull the earth beneath the ocean’s surface."
I honestly trust these guys with all the systems... except the combat. If they can get the physics to look and feel more weighted and less floaty I'd feel way better about it.
"As far as the forum code of conduct, I would think it's a bit outdated and in need of a refre *CLOSED*"

@FlyByKnight Indeed; I guess it's floaty simply due to quite early iterations of controller, general responsiveness and likely all kinds of other technical stuff I don't even know the name of.

I'm concerned with the combat too, but the devs seem to realize that it's not satisfying for now and they need to keep working until it feels good. With a better responsiveness of the controller, as JamesGoblin mentions, it should be easier to land our attacks. Once it's implemented correctly, developers should have a clearer idea of what works and what doesn't in the combat.
