Well i was playing this game. And its butefull. But I had these few things that annoyed me..
1.) The chat system in general
a.) The colors were not too pleasing on the eye, and the word wrap was screwed up.
b.) the first thing i saw when i started the game... was a wave of bazzars lol
2.) dosn't seem to be much of a story to motivate you
3.) its hard to figure out what to do as a noob, no one really wants to help
4.) The game is butefull how ever, and I like the concept
5.) there's only 3 chars to choose from
well i liked it allright, i only got lvl 5, but i prob won't be coming back to it.... Just my thoughts and oppinions.

One of the worst MMORPGs I'd played in my life. But most korean games suck so there is no surprise there. (Except GunZ, its semi-fun)
Mustache is a cat
That has to go to the vet
Do your taxes now
this is cool game
im playing it since december 2004
I thought it will be boring when i first played it
but after few hours i cant move from the pc
this game is under construction ;p so every couple week something new comes out
try it
Kal online SUCKS....I couldn't even stay connected because their servers were unstable. I have 6mbit down/ 768kbit up cable connection.
I can tell you its one of the coolest free mmorpgs out there.
A new update comes out almost every week, this including completely new features, more graphic effects, bug fixes...
The re is now a student teacher system that really helps if you're a begginer in the game (information and financial help), new dungeons with incredible graphics and even puzzles. The story is one of the coolest I've seen, the only disatvantage is that its not PvP orientated...but that almost doesnt matter.
I admit there is some lag, but the server is very stable and can easily be plaid with a decent dial-up connection. There has been only 1 time when the server went down...and to fix the problem the devs added a special event in which for 12 hours the monsters gave double exp...how cool is that?!
You hvae to know how to customize your chat window so it doesnt get confusing and flooded. After that there is no problem.
Wel...the main thing is that the game is great...try it and you'll like it.

I agree with Takai but Kal Online would be one of those starter MMORPG's. I'm sad that i got a friend to try out Kal as a starter to mmorpgs. He got hooked and won't try anything else. Like it's the best one ever..
Most korean game do kinda suck, but I bet the good ones will never come here or it will be a long while before it comes.
GunZ is cool though. LVL 26

RISING DRAGOON ~AION US ONLINE LEGION for Elyos
I have played lots of MMORPGs. I recently started playing this one.
NO Server issues. NO boring quests. Character custimization is very limited, but their website claims this will change soon.
Interface is easy to learn.
Has been 3 weeks and I am still playing, which is more than I can say for many 'big time' games that I have tried.
Try it out. Its completely free. What do you have to lose but some time that would be spent in another game that will be tossed aside?
About kal hmm...
I have been playing it for a while.
(lvl 37 mage, lvl 41 archer)
-Servers on my opinion they are generaly ok,they only have a lot of problems at the begining of GW,and if there is too many ppl in same area
-Classes are unbalanced, although they are tryin to balance them at lvl 50+ (2nd job change).
-Economy they are too many high players,so if u dont play all the time u loose track, there is too much income of high lvl items (which has lvl req)
-Graphic it has good graphic, but not may visual effects when using skills.(that also improvs little bit at lvl 50+).
-Story hmm... When u do job quest it was supozed to have one have one,but on my opinion it doesnt.
-Quests:kill,kill,kill,kill,get items, get items, kill, kill, kill.I think it is obvius, all quests are killin type, and some of them u need alooooooooooooooooooot of time to complete,so they get kind of boring.
-GW(Guild wars):Guild wars are fun,but if ur too low lvl (1-40) it gets boring, becouse u die all the time and very quick. When u reach middle lvl (40-50) u can actualy do some dmg.At high lvl (50+) i dont know but ti has to be killin spree. Other problem is there are a lot of cheaters in them.
-Gleaches:There are quite few gleaches:
-Assasin & monsters go trough objects
-Monsters Spawn in out of map area ( u can go there if u use gleach)
-And they are some gleaches that come and go (but it is normal it is beta)
OK,dont have please as crytical guy,im not that type.In generaly game is ok,and i like it. ( I quited becouse of my own reasons). And i think it will become eaven better in the future.

Yes it is.
Friendly piece of advice, before u start look on

Bugs are trying to be fied every week.Problem is taht some bugs stay, and other when they repair old one,new ones are created.
About graphyc efects, they dont add them, exept at new skills or new armors
Features:Game is still under development,so they add new training grounds and new quests (every now and then),here u have quest for each lvl.
Revenge is the best dish served cold.
I didn't say that they add effects at every update but they do it pretty often. Examples: bloom effect, monster spawn effect, some cool shinny thingies when you hit the monster...The rest of them get added when they when they introduce new skills.
Being in some way beta almost every week a new feature gets introduced, or in the worst case they fix some bugs and calibrate the game.
If you dont believe me just check www.kalonline.com and read all the anouncements in the last few months (take into consideration that in the anouncements the bug fixes dont appear...it would ruin them lol)
Bottom line is that considering its a free game it rulz. I admit that if it would be paid it wouldn't stand a chance in the mmorpg world (yet) but its future looks bright (and free )
