Need help finding a PS2 game

I cannot for the life of me remember the name of this game.  Im pretty sure its PS2 and here at the things I can remember. I never beat this game but my brother did (he also cant remember) and it haunts me.

Its kind of an isometric game.
Diablo 2 like hack and slash with a story on top.
Huge numbers at the end of the game.
Cartoony graphics
I remember at some point the goal is to become something similar to a super saiyan...but really you do this 50? 100? level deep dungeon and get a bunch of xp to spend on making yourself stronger and get a fancy new title.
The final boss is a sibling? cousin? or something that went bad.

PLEASE help me!!

    Maybe isometric is the wrong term... Top down ish but still 3d

    Dungeons and Dragons Heroes
    Vagrant Story

    EDIT: Removed games that were RPG, and not Hank-n-Slash

    Well i finally just went through the list of every PS2 action game ever made lol.... it was Shining Force Neo...SOMETHING HOT COMING YOUR WAY!!! lol now i remember. TY all for trying!
