So it may have already been posted but I just learned that Istaria will be upgrading to the Unreal Engine this year. Pretty good news for longtime fans and perhaps will bring in a few new players as well. Good to see it still getting support and dev love.

With that said...I actually do like Istaria. Its a lot more active than Ryzom (which is another MMO I like)...but for Istaria. Istaria's gameplay is rather unique for an MMO. It was made during the innovation era of MMOs.

I remember this game from long ago. I played it from launch, until the second time of troubles started. I'm glad the Dev's have been able to keep it running.
