The story is quite nice and they did a pretty good job with the English voice overs. The combat is action based, with you chaining combos - quite interesting. Quite similar to TERA in that respect. It shines especially in PvP encounters.
The nicest feature is the character graphics. Both the characters and their items seem quite detailed.
Bottom line, it is not revolutionary in any respects. But considering it's an eastern port that doesn't pretend to be anything extraordinary, my expectations were low enough for me to enjoy it.
On top of being just another korean limonade of a game this particular MMO has a hilariously ironic name to boot because korean games are the most soulless generic piece of garbage on the market. Korean games don't deserve the MMORPG tag because that's not what they are. They are just a jiggling oiled tits trap for teens to waste their student loans on.
B&S = Bull&Shit
I care about your gaming 'problems' and teenage anxieties, just not today.
TERA 2, no i mean B&S is basically identical to TERA in every way, combat, graphic, gui (horrible one as well) mostly just a copy. Imagine TERA with new classes and zones and story. character details is rather good, but the rest of the world lacks the same details as the character. Also looks like character creation has more details than the character ingame.
Combat and story are fun. It's a decent game to play around with. Nothing revolutionary, but it's better than sitting around here griping like grumpy old dudes.

Not trying to be "that guy", but what American MMORPGs that have came out recently deserve that title? Pretty much none. So it's not just the Korean market that's doing it, but the English market as well. Neither are throwing out games that are actual MMORPGs like the olden days. It's just solo to endgame and maybe group up and not even speak to each other. So in essence, you're mostly playing a single player game still.
Kung fu combat etc. loving the combat system right now, lots of tricks / combos to learn during the first 10 hours (block, counter, skill chains etc.), and I love the colors, setting, no really - cool MMO completely outside of what we're used to in Europe. It makes me wanna eat Chinese/Korean food while playing! Really enjoying it right now, and it seems I'm not the only one. Tastes & colors I guess?
Enjoying the game so far, nice story, best combat / gameplay ive every experienced in any MMO, questing is nothing special but not bad either. I love the artstyle and the graphics, well made game i would say.
And its f2p, no pay2win.
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
A AAA and polished MMORPG is released yet people still think it's disposable trash. Fine go support that kickstarter, I'm sure your money will be well spent while you look at a blank monitor and wish for things that have yet to (or may never) come.
Go buy an EA game that is most likely not a full RPG or Massively multiplayer or playable for than 20 minutes without CTD.
Or keep playing what you like... in the end new games and content are why we come to this website, hopefully not to simply pine for the old days while complaining about the future of the genre.
Now Playing: Bless / Summoners War Looking forward to: Crowfall / Lost Ark / Black Desert Mobile

The one thing I really appreciate about B&S over Tera is that Lyn are way less creepy than Elin.
I'm gonna try it out. Probably not going to spend a dime, though.
More excited about Black Desert tbh. Not gonna spend a dime before I get to try it out either, though. I'm pretty much done paying for MMOs before I have a chance to try them out, having paid for several which I then could play for a few hours before deciding they're garbage.
This is my first Korean MMO and so far I'm having an absolute blast. The questing is pretty rubbish and found myself skipping the dialogue very early on and the main story feels sort of generic despite the fairly strong voice overs. Where the game shines though is the combat, I always play the assassin/stealthy class in pretty much every game I can and none have ever really captured the role quite as perfectly as BnS. Not to mention the combat is so so deep and complex, I'm level 18 at the moment and already it feels somewhat overwhelming trying to memorize everything at my disposal, it feels dynamic and you have so many options for tackling situations and this feels so refreshing after games like WoW purposefully try and make combat more accessible.. you certainly won't be memorizing a simple 4-5 button DPS rotation on this that's for sure.
not even going to read this crap. short answer is, its for the anime nerds!
As an "anime nerd" I'd agree, the combat definitely has an anime-esque flashiness about it but it's refreshing compared to all the western MMOs I've played over the years.

Ok here is what is really wrong.
1. People paid for beta testing and early access.
2. People are mad cuz it isn't a WOW clone.
Guess they will never learn.
