I agree with this review, the PVE is terrible.

Game is way too easy too, I agree with him again.

I disagree with his whining about "breast physics"...boobs have physics in real life too. It's a shame he wastes a whole paragraph to show his insecurity about breasts.

    Otherwise he's right.

Tried it, Felt like another Asian style grinder clone, the latest being Archeage.

Keep huge boobs out of our video games!!!!

Or at least make them solid like a marble statue!!!

When they move they taunt me!!!

    /s

I dunno man, it's an Asian thing.  They also like to put anthropomorphic children in all their games.

Fine by me.  Better than tired-ass elves, orcs, and dwarves I see in every single god-damn western RPG.

I really don't see the issue.  My girlfriend played TERA and she made herself an impossibly thin, tall and big-busted woman.  Obviously she didn't think it was sexist or anything, the same way a guy picking some huge hulking dude wouldn't think that was sexist.

These are role-playing games and you're not necessarily picking characters based on their realism.

Bottomline: I really don't mind the boobs.
I prefer it when female characters fit the look of their given vocation (I'm speaking in general and not just video games specifically).

Large breasts and impossible thin waists aren't really conducive to effectively fighting anything.

But I realize these games aren't set in a realistic setting, so it wouldn't turn me off of a game.  Just a difference in my mind between necessarily unbelievable items in a game (orcs, wizards, magic, etc.) and unecessarily unbelievable items (impractically large breasts that jiggle uncontrollably and would almost immediately strain the back of the tiny-framed lady they're attached to).

Like I said, though, it doesn't really bother me enough to stop playing a game.

He says about this game what i have been saying about most of the games.Shallow generic game play.
It likely survives on the Esport mode  or would be a ghost town.
When he mentions it plays better as a pvp 1 0n game ,that is the first thing that caught my eye,it is Mortal Kombat 2.0.

I don't want MK i want a rpg with a lot of system elements that help to bring immersion and the game world to life.I like to feel like i am really in a game world, chasing around markers over npc heads does NOT accomplish that,it is merely a system to support level numbers.A Role playing experience is also or should NEVER be about level numbers.
These continued bad game designs are giving us maximum 2 months game play then everyone just hangs out on a max level toon looking to Raid or pvp.I couldn't care less about pvp in a rpg nor do i care about end game anything,i want THE GAME and if all they can deliver is 1-2 months, i am not wasting my time.

Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.

Though I'd prefer bouncing hair physics in MMOs rather than bouncing boob physics. :/

I'm just annoyed by the constant plastic LEGO heads.

That's pretty much this site in a nutshell, and why I find it endearing. It's where all the lost children of the 90s flock to bemoan their changed hobby.

Personally? Having a blast. Game is a solid 7, and 7s aren't a bad thing.

It's not realistic and its artistic intent is entirely moot.
The game has miniature mouse eared humanoids with tails casting spells, but it was the boobies that threw off the realism?

Always makes me laugh. "I'm cool with the fire balls and the flying, but those boobies jiggling? Outrageous!"

Fantasy settings, to qualify, require necessarily unbelievable items such as spells or inhuman characters.

They do not require unnecessarily unbelievable items, such as impossibly large breasts or, say as a completely random example of another way in which this could be applied, male characters with genitals the size of melons.

If you feel those are impossibly large, then you sir have never been to Miami.

What major do I do for this please?

    Fluid dynamics?

"In some instances, the engineer has made use of friction to supply this force. The friction force is expressed by F = fN, where F is the frictional force, f is the coefficient of friction and N is the normal force acting perpendicular to F.

Since, for a given female and a given dress, f is constant, then to increase F, the normal force N has to be increased.

In this case, the horizontal forces F1 and F2 (Figure 1) are no longer acting horizontally, but are acting downward at an angle shown (on one side only) by T. Therefore, there is a total downward force equal to the weight of the dress below B + the vector summation of T1 and T2. This vector sum increases in magnitude as the back is lowered because F = 2Ts in a, and the angle a increases as the back is lowered. Therefore, the vertical uplifting force which has to be supplied for equilibrium is increased for low-back gowns."

I prefer realistically sized swords, yea.

And if we're being totally honest, unless it was done in the interest of humor, not a single person would try to defend Joe Orc-with-the-Melon-Testicles.  There'd be nothing but cries of "wtf?" and "why would they do that?" and "that looks so stupid."

I'd just be an adult and realize I though something looked silly, and move on.

That's a lie. I would have a dwarf with enormous balls.

Reason I read these written reviews and still read gaming magazines, is because on Youtube, people are always downvoted if they write a critical review.

(and yes votes on youtube matter for views, it determines how videos are ranked when you search for "Review X")

On Youtube people are actually encouraged to always write an overly positive review, there is a self-serving bias to write a positive review.

Of course, not everyone does, some are critical when needed, but, it's harder and harder to trust them.
Funny thing, when ESO launched ESO fans complained bitterly that all the negative reviews were just to get likes.

You can have a fantasy setting on a fantasy planet in a fantasy universe but there has to be something that grounds the game, something that ties the player to the universe by way of realism, that's how you get immersion.

Well, ESO went through a lot of shit too. Even shutting down and going B2P.

If a sub game fails and becomse a b2p game and a b2p game fails and becomes a f2p game, what happens a f2p game fails?

How far can a F2P fall?

There is no, "Rebirth" for B&S if it fails.

Plus ESO has Skyrim money to throw at their company. And Fallout 4 money now too!!

When you have to spend days mind numbingly clicking on dumb mobs in order to increase some arbitrary number  in order to really start playing real game (excellent PVP) then no wonder it gets bad score.

You may say: "but ALL mmorpgs are like that!"   Well and maybe that is a problem.   It is 2016. Not 2010 or 2005 anymore.

To all the people complaining about the boobs in B&S, all my characters are female Gon, Yun, and Jin and they all have the smallest breast size available.

Kudos to NCSOFT and Team Bloodlust for making a great character creator full of sliders and choices. Just because you can slide the boob scale all the way to the right to the right doesnt mean you have to do it. The option is there and im glad it is there even if i dont use it.

The last thing i want is restricted content/features in my games. Be mature about it and create the character you like.

They also added an awesome feature to the game that lets you hide other people from your screen so you dont have to see what you dont like to see.

Says the person with Quiet as an avatar =D

Just kidding I agree with your post.
    :dizzy:
i havent met Quiet in game (Witcher 3 took me completely out of MGSV lol) but i have a soft spot for Stefanie Joosten <3

But yeah, we choose what we like, but glad to see more options exist even if we dont use them.

I dont go around telling big breasted woman to remove them in real life. And there are many sad looking ones out there. The ones in game are fine.

ESO didn't shutdown. It did change revenue models.

The only mmo I can recall in recent history that sucked so bad it had to shutdown and reboot is FF14.
You know what I meant. LOL

My comment was about how people always perceive critics as just saying things to get likes/clicks if they disagree with them; not trying to make some pissing contest between ESO/BnS.

Also, if BnS fails it will be because the Koreans and Chinese are tired of it.  America is almost irrelevant to the overall success of the game, welcome to 2016.
