True - i always forget about the console peasants. I guess you guys win this one . albeit with vastly inferior graphics. I'd take that over a hackfest anyday though.
Apparently you don't take a look at the PC/PS4/XB1 graphics comparisons very often if you think anything is "vastly inferior" lol the differences are always miniscule at best - probably because all cross-platform games are designed (graphically) for the console first and foremost.
Apparently you don't realize screenshots mean nothing. Youtube videos cannot show you what a PC player sees. You play at 1080p 30fps, 60fps in some games, not to mention the amount of input lag you experience on a T.V.... I currently play at 1440p, 144fps on a 144hz monitor with FreeSync anti-screen tearing. And 1ms response times. You cannot fathom what this looks like until you see it with your own eyes. It's like looking through a window, even in fast pace FPS games. No blur, no lag. Butters.
Lol apparently you haven't played on a modern TV.
Sony 4K upscaled, <5ms response, 240mhz refresh, with the best smooth-motion in the industry. At 55".
I actually turn off most of the upscaling and processing effects as it makes the games (and blu rays) TOO crisp and fluid, it almost looks unnatural. It's great for sports though.
I like some film-grain and motion blur, makes it seem more real. I just hate shaky cam, but that's a whole other story.
You should play Forza or some other 60fps 1080p game on a TV like mine. It'll make your brain melt.
Its a great television for playing console games on, whether that compares to a 4k monitor however, is something else entirely, for one thing, 4k monitors don't need to have motion smoothing, but if you don't mind motion blur then i guess thats fine, personally i hate it, always disable it in games, only game i've played that had film grain was Mass Effect, and that was instantly turned off too, it looked awful. I think its one of those things where mileage varies due to personal preferences, though personally, i'd love to have a 4k television to go with my 4k monitor, i think 1080p is old enough now to be relegated to the smithsonian, fortunately i have a PC so 1440 at 60fps+ is a real thing, and i love it.
How does hacking work on consoles :O I mean the basic idea of hacking is to inject the hack into the game's runtime ... how do you do this on a walled garden console?
IMO the greatest hack for a console would be the ability to plug keyboard and a mouse in a FPS game. You'd be a God!
And to the guy talking about inferior graphics ... pls. Check GTAV, then add some mods. Oh wait speaking of mods. Take skyrim. Now add mods. Do you catch my drift?
Also, the difference between 30 fps (most console peasents framerate) and 60/120/144 fps makes all the difference. You don't even need a trained eye to spot the difference.
To be fair the gameplay on the PC version is better than the console too.. Free aiming on the PC beats aided targeting on the console every day.
But there are several anti-cheats that rely on statistics these days and they are harder to spoof. But hacks and cheats is a fact of life and as the consoles becomes more like PC´s it will be more and more of an issue there too.

There are a number of ways to add a K&M to XB1 or PS4 .. while its nice to have, it doesn't give people the supreme advantage you may think it does.
There used to be other hacks, where you could set a connection timeout interval on a device. It would D/C and you could run somewhere else and it would reconnect and you'd essentially teleport without taking any damage. I'm not sure if its still in use, sometimes people see this.. even with newer consoles and chalk it up to connection issues on their end or the other players end. I don't see it much these days.

Doesn't matter what refreshrate your TV runs at when your console limits you to 30 or 60. Try playing Project Cars on 144hz with 144fps and FreeSync... You are missing out, anybody whose experienced 144fps on 144hz will confirm this. You CANNOT run ps4/xb1 past 30fps in most games, such as GTA5. Some games run at 60fps.. but NONE run anything past that. I didn't know there were any 4k monitors that ran past 60hz though, Just checked the market, good to know.
I was at a console friends house a few weeks ago, he was playing GTA5... i was looking at it like WTF why is it SOOO laggy?? hes like "what do you mean? it looks fine to me" ... Lmao... You guys have no idea... I tried to explain to him how bad it reall was but console gamers just don't know until they see the difference. Been meaning to show him what it looks like at 144fps on 144hz... But its probably better he doesn't right? Ignorance is bliss in this case.

Meh, it really doesn't matter that much to me. My PC runs GTA5 just fine at 60FPS+ on high settings, and its a laptop so I can play it anywhere, with a controller, or use my TV as a monitor, but I don't like playing everything on my PC. Some games are just better played on console. GTA5 isn't one of them, personally.
The Division just happens to be for me. So was Destiny. The K&M aiming is always a plus on PCs but consoles have the advantage in simplicity and use. I just log in and I'm in the party with the people I want to play with, and I'm put directly in their game. For something like the division, a few extra frames won't change my life.

60fps is doable, but on console GTA5 runs at a measly 30fps regardless of your TV's refreshrate. It's just soo choppy at 30fps.. 60fps seems fine, 140fps is definately a wowfactor... thats not a few more frames, thats over 4 times more frames. 30fps looks like a flipbook.
I agree with the cheater part, wish i could play division on console... Bet that's fun...

Yet TV's are not made for gaming mainly because of the huge input lag. Gaming on a PC screen is always better. TV stats are different compared to a PC screen.
Today a well known cheat company released their highly sophisticated and highly undetectable cheats for the PC version of The Division. The cheats include auto aiming, ESP and radar. Cheats of this calibur on a game like this completely destroy the multiplayer aspect, at least for me. It's a shame because this game appeared to be a lot of fun. However the Console versions of this game remain unphased by these cheats. So worry not my console peasants, yee hath won this battle. I unknowingly linked these cheats in my OP merely as proof of their existance.. A moderator edited, and rightly so, butchering what I said... I always forget linking cheats on forums like this are a double-edged blade as it often creates more cheaters!!!
most likely those cheats where released by ubisoft using a cover company. we know how they go out of their way to try and make PC looks bad
Please do not respond to me, even if I ask you a question, its rhetorical.

That seems a bit counter-productive considering they are relying on PC sales... There are a lot more hackers out there than you may think, whole groups of them, who do things like this on a regular basis to test their skills. Know how you always hear about DDOS attacks with these gaming companies? It may be a different form of it, but these guys just do it for fun. And don't be foolish enough to think that a lot of these guys don't end up getting jobs in cyber defense with government agencies. I know a guy who did just that. Was constantly in trouble. FBI raiding his house randomly. Then he was recruited.
I don't know, it's just something us PC gamers have to deal with.

Why does the title not read " RIP Cheats"? Why do people assume Cheats can't be gotten rid of? And OP: How do you know so much about cheating, more or less the address of the cheat site? Only people interested in cheating go to those sites. You sound fishy.
Cheats / Hacks are bigger , better and more widespread than ever. It is no longer the good ol days where aimbots , walking through walls and raising where you bullet leaves from ( to shoot over stuff while being in complete cover ) were obvious and all we had to worry about..
Now we have aimbots that randomly target parts of the body to conceal it , wallhacks , always on 3d spotting , enemy on radar , recoil control macros and a whole bunch of other stuff that give advantages. None of these are obvious like they used to be. So much so that many players are still in denial.
It is a big business and those with the know how and the patience to deal with game updates and complainers whining about being caught can make a very good living.
Just watching a good amount of some of the ' top ' youtube FPS players and I see red flags everywhere that something as small as a recoil macro is being used.
Coming from someone with experience in the field I can say for sure that BF4 is packed full cheaters.
To all of you bragging about your high end specs PC comparing it to consoles for the sake of bragging, your Uber PC 60fps 144hz Whatever WTFBQQ did not cost $350-$400, you paid thousands so the comparison is pretty moronic. We know an overpriced machine is stronger, that doesnt make it the automatic best choice. They simply dont compare. a $350 dollar PC from walmart cant even play WoW at 30fps with medium graphics. That horse has suffered enough already... drop it.
EDIT: forgot to say, stick to the Topic. Division got hacks? im not surprised. Ubisoft isnt getting better.

free aim make it better on the other hand.
The mouse is more accurate for competitive shooters, yupp, but in PvE is all about personal preference. I never use aided "aim assist" when i play with gamepad. I prefer gamepad over mouse and if i have to deal with less accuracy with the analog sticks, i wont get any better by letting the game aim for me. If i was a game developer i would never add that nonsense to my games.
On a more personal note, as i have said before, i only play to have fun. Even in competitive games like shooters, i sacrifice the accuracy of a mouse because i have more fun with a controller, leaning back on my couch and big screen, so i play those on console. My PC is only for mmorpgs and the occasional Skyrim with mods.

just so you know I can build a computer with a good monitor and be cheaper then a console with a tv screen.
a xb1 or ps4 here cost aroun 1,5k to 2k(possible higher its been some time last I checked the price tag with dolar cotation), witha computer parts are cheaper, also there is the advantage of, running higher quality, and in case of a problem I can easily fix it, against a console I can only wait for then to patch it, plus alt tabbing to see something else over the net or using 2 monitors(or more) kinda is a win, plus accessorys.
also you can also play conole games on computer even if they not release it to the pc, for that alone is a big win, as long you have the game you can play it
A game that stores things like crit-rate client side asks for cheats
Pretty much all FPS games do these calculations client side because otherwise you have the problem of "thinking" you are shooting someone, but you are simply aiming at a 5-10 lag ghost, thus everyone ends up being frustrated. So until internet is stable across the world and companies learn to program netcode correctly, we may as well just get used to cheaters.
Doing calculations client side and actually storing your stats client side so that they're literally as easy to change as editing a text file are two entirely different things.
Why does the title not read " RIP Cheats"? Why do people assume Cheats can't be gotten rid of? And OP: How do you know so much about cheating, more or less the address of the cheat site? Only people interested in cheating go to those sites. You sound fishy.

The problem is there's no program you need to download. You basically edit a text file so if you can press buttons on a keyboard you can cheat. This is not a common scenario. This is a major screw up in the architecture of the game and is very unlikely to change prior to launch due to that fact.

Well, comparing a console to a $350 PC isn't really fair either. It wasn't built for gaming. For what consoles offer, they are fantastic for their price. But that's the thing. They are what they are, and they remain that way until the next console comes out. Which is usually 5-7 years. Your PC specs can be upgraded at any time. Which is why I prefer them for gaming. Also, mouse and keyboard is simply better for anything other than sports and racing games.
Also, you don't get the right to go on a rant about the PC master race and then tell everyone to stick to the topic of the thread. You won't get away that easily.

Really? That's interesting.. because I read an article that had them saying that PC was very important and they were going to develop it independently to the consoles, so they won't hold the PC version back. If PC was always on the back burner, they would have just ported it over from console. No? Why even make the effort?
