i have spend money before in archeage and my character was crazy strong
im a noob in most game but i can become the best in most of the f2p games im playing when im spending the money needed for get everything and become the best.
im tired of that now, people talk about most of these f2p games like they are not p2win.
they are wrong, 95% of them are p2win, with money you can make them, my character can own your character easy, i can become the best players in most of these ''fair game''
will start play black desert in exactly 3 days, will spend around 1000$ ( or more if needed )
everything for make my character level faster, or stronger
will make a video or screenshot when im max level with the time to reach max level have take me
when the cash shop get ''updated'' with the various item from the others version, im going spend money upgrade my item to the max level
will then create a video of me owning most people i see ingame, will also post my total time played.
im doing that for help the genre, im tired spend more and more for become the best in these new f2p

I don't think there is anything that you can buy to really make your character stronger.
Updated to what?
Having said that, if you camp me, I care. It's a game, and I think people get too bent out of shape because you can buy your way to the top. Is it P2W (Play 2 Win) if you have 60 hours a week to play while I only have 3. Do you now have an unfair advantage?
I self identify as a monkey.
I am talking to you since you said,
"He said when the cash shop gets updated" as we all know it will."
Since you know,
What specific items are on there way to the US Version Cash Shop that will make the game pay to win?
We shall see, but P2W items will come when the box sales end. I ll check back in a couple months and we can chat.
Ok, so you dont know.
/sigh
As I said we ll chat then, you know as much as I do on the subject, so we can discuss it then.
Well, hold the forums down for us.
See you then.

I don't know about anyone else but the objective for me in an MMORPG is overcoming challenges and achievement through personal skill, problem solving, and perseverance. What fun is an MMORPG, or any game for that matter, if you do not challenge yourself by buying your victories and achievements?
Where is the fun in that?
I don't mean to demean or question your objective, but it's not often that we get a player to admit that they are a "whale" around these parts. So now that we have a proud one in our presence I'd just really like to know what it is that you win by spending huge amounts of money in a game that is less about winning as it is about enjoying a journey through progressive development, skill, and personal achievement.
I don't see anything in BDO's cash shop that will allow players to become really powerful in pvp, and there appears to be no way around actually working to get gear/levels since there is no p2p trade and account selling seems extremely difficult, so his videos could well prove a good point.
LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already
they are no reason trying to insult me for my writing skill in english, that far from perfect but if you can understand it ? unless you cant ?
totaly agree with you im not okay with that, im guessing people have less time that mostly the reason but they still want to be the best when they play, just like many people pick the VIP option or travel in a better air class when they take a flight, they can, so they do it.
was okay with spending money a bit, because i dont have that much time anymore to play these type of game, it was cheap before to buy into the p2win, but now each new game cost 1k or more, that expensive and they have gone to far with the lastest ''f2p'' game
i have think it can only help show how someone with money can become the best in a f2p games, because im playing mmorpg since many year and these game are realy starting to become more p2win that the last one and the next after even worst.
many people will not care when i post the low time played for reach max level probably, some will care when my character will stop play and restart only when they ''update the cash shop'' for become the best in less that 30 min, then others will get various feeling when they see my video of me killing most people i see ingame
that mostly the true free to play players who will have spend no money into the game but played a whole month or 2 who will get the most reaction im guessing.
i dont want show off, brag, im a noob, but im feeling the genre go to far into the p2win now and it can only help people see what it look like playing such a game when you got the money to buy the best item in these cash shop.
personaly i would like the mmorpg to go back some year before when p2win was not that bad but mostly about speeding the level up
will necro the topic when im max level with a screenshot, then when they ''update the cash shop'' im going post my video of me killing others players with my time played again
people will do what they want with it, im thinking it can only help the mmorpg genre a bit
Hey I'm not saying P2W is a good thing. But it's evil effects have been blown way out of proportion.
P.S Yes I'm might have been a whale in many games, but I only spend on cosmetics. Yes I'm that shallow
