IO have been around easily as long as Chris and i have seen a LOT of things in the workplace.

I worked with a couple racists yet they did hire minorities,to them it was sort of comical to pick on them once they arrived.Sometimes he would hire a black person sometimes he would not but clearly was 100% racist.
Point being that Chris's EXCUSE of saying "we have black people" or minorities does not mean a single thing as racists will still hire a minority.
Geesh i even worked at a place who hired handicap,sounds like a good thing to do right?Nope they abused them terribly to the point of even beating them up trying to hurt them.Now of course you can't be that bad and not eventually get caught and they were and the owner  and his son were  forced to stay out of his own place of business but other than that i have no idea of jail time or whatever.

The article is far from the truth(racism and no money left and no game?? when you can already fly ships, shoot them, get out of ships , capture them in zero g and when they are opening new studios worldwide and bring new people in?) but is it true that in many games there are feature creeps and conflicts with managers and creative people yes but that is the norm in making a game..

That happens at many small companies, they aren't all like large corporations with more HR than Managers ect.  If the owner of a private company wants to shit talk, in a free country, with freedom of speech, than that's what they will do. If it's in a place without freedom of speech than I guess those rules will apply.  

 TLDR: Either press charges, or get over it. No one cares anymore, we are playing other games while we wait for SC anyway.

BWaahaaahaaa now he is drunk WTF is wrong with you guys. ANYONE that has watched a Chris Roberts video wouldnt give that guy a dime, how he talks and acts like a special needs person. I guess people missed the video where the guy couldnt even get his computer to turn on when he was trying to play the game he is developing, and then after someone turned it on for him he couldnt get the game to load. Well no surprise there since at that time it was total shit, at least now a few months later it is semi stable, as in people can maybe play for 30-45 mins before it crashes.

I can guarantee there are  people who used to work there and are still working there that have dirt on a lot of things that are going on there, just because none of it has been released doesnt mean it doesnt exist, it will all eventually come out. More than likely after something is released and it gets crucified for being the worst thing ever, CR and hi principles come out and defend it and try and cite paperwork and then a whole slew of videos and paper trails and taped conversations come out as rebuttal to everything they claim.

Hearing about it now doesnt mean much since people still have hope and stars in there yes. But if it crashes and burns or delivers only a very small portion of what someone would expect for a couple hundred ,million bucks there will be PLENTY of people and 'evidence' coming out of the woodwork.

See in the real world (not on TV or in fantasy and) not everything is revealed when people want it to be revealed. You dont know the killer immediately you have to wait.

Thats why I said we have years more of this to come and the less that is delivered and the more money they rake in and the more time passes it will just get better and better.

This is just the latest ex employee, albeit a pretty important one reaffirming what everyone has said about the game. The HR crap and hiring old people or minorities is a non issue for most people if those things are true like I said people have 'evidence' of it and its more than likely being investigated. But in terms of the game and what can realistically be done Irving basically said no F-ing way will it be done, especially not the way CR is selling it. When you say 'good luck' in as sarcastic a manner as he did its pretty obvious (unless youre Sheldon cooper) what he means. The only thing he could have possibly added to it to make it more obvious is "it wont matter how much money they throw at it".
