The specs for premium membership in B&S look rather weird, with these different tiers tied in to the Hongmoon store. Is it worth subscribing? One of the benefits seems to be a % increase in coin drop from monsters, but since in my experience they never drop any coins (one of the disappointing aspects of the game) this doesn't seem to be any benefit. Or not for starting characters.
If premium is just a way to try and get you to spend more in the store, it doesn't look like a good deal unless you were planning to do sso anyway.

It has decent value. It's mostly like riding in business class instead of coach. Tons of small things that make the game more convenient.
Main perk is the Wardrobe- you save a lot of inventory space that way. % increase to daily xp is nice too. And you do get copper drops from mobs where you get none if you don't have it. Most mobs don't drop much but bosses or mini-bosses drop like almost a silver. I think it adds up if you PVE a lot.
I don't know why it says "100% more gold from monsters" when they drop none. Probably just bad translation but you do get money drops with sub.
I actually love the way sub is in this game. It's nice to have, especially if you play the game a lot, but it's not necessary. All f2p games should follow this model imo.
Main selling point for me is ability to deposit items in Wardrobe. I have currently around 50 various costumes and accessories and without Wardrobe I would be really struggling with storage space to keep them all.
There also 2 more perks I really appreciate. Ability to vendor items anywhere in the world makes inventory management much more easier. Item evolution and breakthrough fees discounted by 20% save you a lot of gold in process (for example my next Ring evolution costs 23.20 gold instead of 29 gold). However this perks only become available at Premium Rank 4.
Another perk I am looking forward too is ability to access your bank anywhere in the world. It is only available from Premium Rank 9 though.
The other thing worth mentioning is that you can increase your Premium Rank not only by buying items or Premium Membership for real money but also by using Hongmoon Coins to make store purchases. Those coins can be obtained from daily quest reward boxes at higher levels (but they have very small chance to drop - during my first month I didnt get any of them that way), from Daily Dash or they can be bought for gold from in-game Currency Exchange. I was able to buy couple costumes and one extra unlock that way and thanks to those purchases I am now at Premium Rank 4 after 2 months of playing.
You also mentioned gold drops, I got Premium when I was around level 5 and mobs immediately started dropping coins, although it is only few coppers on low levels.
Now all those things mentioned above are reasons why I use Premium Membership, I cant say whether they will make it worth subscribing for you.
@holdenhamlet - they removed 30 day membership from NC store. It can only be obtained now by chosing recurring subscription on the website. The only Premium that can be gifted by other players now is 90 days.
Ah yeah. I ended up just buying it this time. Also going to buy some NCoin so I can use the mail.
Very annoyed that I have to do that to unlock mail, and annoyed with the bots, but the rest of the game is just so good and perfect for my gaming habits right now, so I don't mind spending a little to support it.
There are worse and more insidious ways to get you to use the cash shop/sub than BnS for sure.
This game should make some items for example "soul-stone", untradeable - so as the game is not a pay to win model and may have a player base in the future.

" Don't listen to anyone who tells you that you can't play this or that. That's nonsense. Make up your mind, and you'll never whine or repent about gaming hours anymore, then have a go at every Game. Open up the Internet, join in all the Mmorpgs you can. Go make the Guild. But never, never let them persuade you that things are too difficult or impossible. "
Once An Addict Always An Addict .
People suggesting this game has a problem with p2w are silly, even WoW lets you buy gold from other players which you can use to get good gear. WoW is not considered a p2w game by most people because you can easily just get the gear on your own and not pay for it. You can do the same thing in Blade and Soul. I am on Douchan or whatever, one of the lowest population servers from what I understand and I dont have any problems with population being low. Haters gonna hater, people who are not good at games are always gonna blame the game or the game economy instead of figuring out how to be better...
