BDO threads ad nauseam

Getting tired of the BDO spam. If the game's as awesome as some seem to claim it definitely doesn't need to be shoved down our throat the way it is here on mmorpg.com both by the staff and the fans, it can stand on it's own two feet.
Never have I seen this much desperate peddling for a new game...Not even GW2!
Obviously you're all free to discuss what you want, it isn't my place to censor anyone but damn this is getting old and it isn't fair either.
There's 10s of other games out there that are far more deserving of our attentions than this mediocre MMO with awesome character models that everyone will have quit and forgotten about 6 months from now.

Don't like it don't read it, yeah I know..But it becomes hard when half the threads on these forums are about the same damned thing.

    BDO is still new and it's trying new things.  It's bound to be controversial.

    It's the new kid on the block, what do you expect?
    Plus is not like there are any new MMO to talk about.
    Don't know if you realized it yet, but the MMO industry is gone a bit quiet recently.

    Yes it does try new things and yes the industry is a little dry but you have to wonder why a game like The Division, for example,  isn't getting near as much attention or coverage when it's just as new and 10 times more successful. Agenda much?

    Don't worry, it's just the current FOTM.
    They are trying to get as many ppl as possible psyched to give the game a try so they have friends ingame.

    In a few weeks it's "it was fun but boring now, I am going to give WoW another try"

    Some months ago it was the same thing with that Crowfall thingy and something called Archeage.

     Thanks but I'm rather enjoying the talk about a new game that's actually good, instead of the usual back and forth about Star Citizen, or whatever current scandal people want to drum up.

    Seriously.  A post complaining that there's not enough negativity about this game.  Too many people like this game.  THE FIX IS IN! :)

    ...So I finally managed to make my fishing boat on BDO last night. No more crappy raft, or little rowboat for me. I'm in the big leagues now! Open seas and islands, here I come!

    Oh, oh, and the other day I got this treasure map quest, and it sent in me into this cave that went so friggin' deep into the ground...! It was awesome...! *goes on and on about BDO goodness*

    Relax OP.  I just ignore most posts about this game unless it's something I feel like reading or responding to.  Like others have said, it's new with a wrapper that's a bit different than other mmo's.  Just give it a little longer and the talk will die off just like the player population is.  When it come down to it, it's just another eastern made grinder with nothing special going for it.  They don't last long and neither will this one.

    I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

    It's because the game is deserted just like in every other region.

    Just look at the forums of this game, it's just a place for spammers now.

    Because the division is shit and doesn't bring much new to the table, while BDO is awesome and something completely fresh?

    So its a mmo website and we talk about the new mmo's.  Just happens this one is sticking out because its good and you are too hard headed to try it.  So instead of trying the game you just get mad and blame everyone but yourself.
    Are you onto something or just on something?

    It's the latest big game release. If there were other big game releases you would also have threads about them.

    And as it seems one of the last "big game"releases it will of course have a lot of people talking about it.

    Seems to me that since you don't like the game you just want to create "yet another thread" complaining about it. Maybe you should lay low for a while. Go to other sites and when the excitement has calmed down you can talk about the 10's of other games that you find are more deserving.

    edit: I don't play the Division, no interest, maybe it's the same for many here? Maybe it's just as simple as that.

    Because everyone is to busy playing them to post, because its actually fun where BDO is a grind fest with no end game other then pointless PvP no loot nothing just meah.

    Amazing what name recognition can do. I haven't heard anything spectacular about the Division. I might get it if it goes on sale for more than 50% off, but I don't care about the name to go out and buy it.

    This has to be one of the dumbest ideas for a new thread I've ever seen here. And there have been some doozies. A new BDO thread about too many BDO threads.

    It would be mildly humorous if the OP had meant it that way. But I've never detected the slightest shred of humor form him. He must be a serious guy.

    Plenty of time to post here while processing a large stack of ore, lumber, potions, or waiting for the fish bite sound. or waiting for you boat or horse to get to the destination you set... etc.

    Of course, the ones who don't play it and can't stand to see others enjoying themselves and lurk forums to spout hate have all the time in the world.
