Just got an email via Blizzard stockholder, Legion drops 8/30.   Still not getting it though.

    I cant wait for them to put the last nail in the coffin by bringing back the stupid facebook Garrison all over again... heirlooms leveling faceroll no CC required instancing. Gold cap for Real life money... intant level 100 and ability prunning... Cant wait for WoD 2.0 all over again

    lets just join the server clusters and everyone plays in their own shard... lose all sense of community while we are at it... LFG, LFR and easy content thats what we need more of ...

    That sounds horrible.  Are they really going further on that route?

    Nah everything he just said is shortsighted, trolling or misinfo. The so called "facebook" garrison is now actually hero class halls where other players of your class reside so its not like solo garrisons in wod. Heirloom lvling is tied to abilities and the progression of your class like talents, its just a fancy way of adding some different class abilities and having some cool looking weapons with some lore behind them. No cc required instancing... wow has been like that since basically BC lol. Don't know anything about a gold cap for real life money. Instant lvl 100... boosting has been in the game for a very very long time now and is mainly used by people who have leveled chars multiple times already who have been playing the game for a long time. Ability prunning is for balance so nothing is OP this will be brilliant for pvp considering they have split pve and pvp abilities, now they can finally balance them separately for a better balanced experience. 

    I am certainly not saying that the changes are going to make the game great again by any means, but you gotta realize there are actually some good changes in the right direction, there are also more changes than those mentioned. Anyone who looks into it can see that they are trying to rectify things that people didn't like in wod and mists. People who moan are actually not looking at the changes in depth and how they can potentially change the game in a positive way for the future. 
    Started playing mmorpg's in 1996 and have been hooked ever since. It began with Kingdom of Drakkar, Ultima Online, Everquest, DAoC, WoW...

    Legion will be the final expac I believe as the people who are left realise that there is no going back to 'great WoW' only less and less underfunded crap due to Activisions desire to give as little as possible for your noney.
