If it sends and receives information it can be hacked. Most games will make it so the big time dayz style hacks cant be done, which it seems this company cannot do. So yeah obviously some work to be done, but hackers will always be there.

In fact the more competitive the game, the more you can be assured people will hack.

I agree 100%. They should have never left so much on the client side though, it's like asking people to hack the game.

When a developer removes negativity such as this,they are trying to be DECEPTIVE..MISLEADING and hide thew truths about their game.
Probably long after i am dead,but mark my words,eventually law will come out suing these devs for deceptive tactics,only a matter of time.As of now the only law that exists is in the actual marketing practices but even then OFTEN law is broken because  not enough manpower out there to actually govern it.

Funny and sad really,it sure seems that across the board forums are ONLY there to spread positive news  to support >>>$$$$$.We see it all the time,forums removing news about hackers or shotty business operations,all these developers like to hide everything.

A quick TRUE story...
I was playing Runes of Magic,liked the game,supported the game.Well ran into problems like in EVERY game,went to check the forums.Well not a single response to said topic but as soon as someone complained about lack of support a GM arrives almost immediately ..lmao.Go figure Frogster changed their name,point being,who can we really TRUST in the gaming business?Well answer is NOBODY because they are all profiting from each other.

whats more confusing is that people try to play this korean grinder without cheats. I could never. If i would play, i would look as first for hacks around. I dont call it fun to grind 1700h to get 1 lvl from 64 to 65. They could have done it like gw1.


*thats also a problem with cashshops. MY friend told me that heavy donators are treated as kings, no matter what they do. Top donators have 24h support service. And he works as game designer in a f2p game company. So im not suprised hes not banned in that vid, and he probably never will be, or at least just for 24h and they will offer him a free name change or smth.

In my experience hacking accusations are grossly over exaggerated.  I have never cheated in an online game and I couldn't begin to keep track of the times I've been accused of hacking.  It's hard for me to take people serious with these complaints.

Unfortunately for BDO it's looking like people are not exaggerating.

The part that bothers me is people still make excuses for and play these shit games, while throwing their money at them. I just dont get it man, have some balls people. There should never be games with this level of hacking.

You guys really need to give the white knights time to analyze this issue through their rose-colored glasses. They are trying everything they can to convince themselves that this game wont meet its inevitable demise. Try to show some restraint guys. Its hard finding something you love only to lose it due to its own stupidity of not checking information that had been in eastern clients for 3+ years.

Still, my favorite white knight comment in defense of this game has to be "Hackers dont affect my game."

Yep don't play Black Desert, another great game ruined by the developers, and Daum Games... Congrats biggest failure in 2016 history by allowing hacking and not being able to do anything about it.

Instead take that $100 you would waste in Black Desert, and go back Crow Fall or something.

Still it's up to the developer - if they are ignoring what's going on, then they'll know exactly where to look when the population declines to unsustainable.

Didn't dive in for this game - experience has told me to avoid the mad rush in and wait a while.
Well it's off the waiting list - strike off for good.

I remember Frogster. At that point in time on ROM, I had never purchased *anything* from a goldseller. Yet I got banned for it. From what I could gather at the time, they had some kind of gold tracking, but it didn't take into account change of ownership due to the auction house, or was just not working properly. I sold something on the AH worth 1/4 million, got a ton of goldseller gold from the AH which was being tracked, and got banned. That was just before Frogster actually stole from there playerbase by stealing/taking back gems from players who had legitimately purchased them in a special offer.
Frogster were simply a criminal company. I wouldn't put Daum in their bracket yet. Daum are simply incompetant and greedy.

This is really sad that a guy can hack for over 3 weeks without getting banned.  Especially if he has been reported with videos.

I doubt that Pearl Abyss are having sleepless nights over these issues. 

BDO was not made for the NA/EU market, any revenue generated from outside of Korea is just a windfall earned with minimal additional effort. If the game implodes here, they'll probably count their profits and shrug.

PA clearly have no idea what's happening in the gaming world outside of Korea. If they did, they wouldn't be IP-blocking regions like Africa in the hopes that someone will pay for a distribution licence for the region, lol

This game is a laughing stock of the MMO world. I go to some other gaming forums and people post the most absurd hacking tools there, some so good that they are able to make your character have no cooldown on skills, be invisible and dupe items.

Its unbelievable how bad it was until I saw my own friend do it live for me, I just couldn't believe it before...
