Always an issue, depends how long they take to get a grip of it. I remember people screaming about trains of bots in ESO. They sorted that out after about 8 weeks, but that reputation stayed with them for about 4 months.
People will eventually realise the game has been cleaned up, the bigger questions are will they clean it up and if so what damage is done.
In Archage the sentiment was that early abuses had caused so much damage that new players could never catch up in terms of land and so on. Not sure what the feeling is now? In ESO all that happened was some people got to top level really quickly. When playing a MMO with management features that impact the game, such abuses can be seen as unrecoverable.
unless end game pvp is all you worry about in this game the hacks won't bother you. as many have said there are alot of revolutionary systems in this game, on par with swg, that makes the grind and pve questing fun and barely noticable. And why does every game have to taylor itself for western audiences. That's part of what ruined archage besidesa the cash grab. this is daums first published game stateside and i think they have an amazing future
This game is a themepark and nothing like the sandbox SWG was. Trying to compare the two is an exercise in futility.
Daum's only amazing future is they probably have none. They have ruined any reputation they had with this poorly written game. It was designed for Korea where it fits well, it should never have been westernized because of the client design.
The game has no end game beyond pvp which is where the basic problem lies with the client. So yes you can enjoy it for what you like about it, but eventually you will be thwarted by the cheaters.
