So Planetside 1 is shutting down on the 30th.

But this weekend 24-25th there is supposed to be a pretty good amount of people playing again for the final days.

This makes me all sad and teary eyed.  All those many days fighting over Cyssor and Searhus and those rare rare days that people actually fought on Hossin or Esamir.

I played this game every night for nearly two years.

Back when certs weren't unlimited and players actually had to make tactical character building choices. Back when you had a had backpack that you could only fit so much ammo and weapons into, so you had to make tactical choices before you let the spawn room.  Back when vehicles were hard to get and sucked when you lost them rather than an unending stream of vehicleside.

PS1 was such good damned game.

I hear you guys... Played Planetside 1 religiously for years when it first came out (Old Johari server and then Emerald).. And I really really want to play it for the last time, but I just can't tear myself away from Overwatch...

And I agree H0urg1ass, IMO it was one of best MMO's ever made.  Until BFR's that is...
