I am looking to buy a new gaming monitor and was wondering if you guys have any suggestions.

Not to concerned about price.

Been looking at purchasing one myself..

The suggested Asus has G-Sync so it would be best if you have an Nvidia GPU.

I don't, so I was leaning on the  BenQ XL2730Z (27 inch, 144hz, 2560x1440, Freesync)  which is a bit less expansive, but has nice reviews and packs lots (too much?) features.

Anyone here has experience with this monitor?

Just got rid of my Asus. It was one of the cheaper models and came with really poor lighting panels.

If you have the chance to go view the monitors somewhere, perhaps at a local electronics store, it's really worth it. The quality of panels is something you don't read in the specs on a website.

Poor panels means strange colors and seeing the individual pixels more easily.

ALWAYS see the monitor perform in person.
