Some noob questions

Pretty new to the game, and am enjoying it so far.

The only thing that's been frustrating is the lack of inventory space, but I read that if you sub you get a giant crafting bag that helps a lot. So if I keep playing, I'll probably sub. I'm not sure what all can be stored in it though. Obviously standard harvested materials, but anything else? Can you store your runestones in it?

Can you have health regen and say, stamina regen from food active at the same time? It looks like using one cancels out the other.
Also, it doesn't show on the screen anywhere that regen is active. Is there a way to do that?

If I attach a glyph to a piece of armor, is there a way to remove it from the armor later?

I like the minimap mod. Any other mods that are recommended?

Thanks

The mod " Srendarr" will show food/drink timer on your UI.

There is drink that gives both stamina and health regen. It will just have lower values than if you used one with only one type of regen. I believe this type of drink is crafted only but not positive, been a long time since I played.

You can increase your inventory space at a bag vendor in the first town you enter. And there are potent drinks and food that increase all three of Magicka , Health and Stamina ( Total or Regen not both ).

Mods - I like Skyshards , Lorebooks , Treasure locations for treasure maps , Set Item look up ( helps a ton with so many now )..

subbed Crafting Bag holds EVERYTHING used for professions across your entire account (all toons).  It is the most awesome thing that has happened in the universe since like cavemen discovered the wheel, fire and north america.

I was going to say you could have done what others do and just create a lot of alts to use as additional inventory space, but that gets tedious.  Enjoy the game.

I've been playing ESO for awhile now, but am a newb to online play. What is "subbing"? Also, I believe I downlowaded the Skyshard mod but it's my first mod and I'm not sure how to access it :) Any help/advice is welcome.

Don't try to install and update addons one at a time. Use the Minion manager instead.

Also all addons need to be added when neither the game nor the launcher are running.

Subscribing to the game. It gives you some perks.

there are a few perks to subbing, but honestly I only subbed for the crafting bag and its so worth it. I find myself gathering every thing is see now rather than picking and choosing and I have so much more space in both my bags and my bank (in case you didn't know when you get the crafting bag it takes all crafting materials from your bank as well and puts them in the bag)

Yes runestones go in the crafting bag, they are mats the same as any other.
yes you can have health & stamina regen from higher tier food and at the highest tier much more still.  To see it you need an addon.
just overwrite the glyph with another one
master merchant mod is a must, skyshard mod so u know where they are and lots more.

Subbing also gives you free access to all the DLC's

One easy way to increase inventory space is by upgrading your mount for inventory.
  • LeiloniLeiloni Member RarePosts: 1,266
You can also increase inventory space by increasing the amount your horse can carry aside from just the bag vendors. But I'd recommend also increasing bank space.

Subbing is a really decent deal actually, if i were to buy 1500 crowns that wold cost me $15, hmmm i get 1500 crowns every month with my $15 sub with a truck load of perks to boot.
I know allot of people whine about the sub, but i've been playing mmo's for a long time and I'm simply used to paying a sub, i know people will freak on me but it just feels right, better, i just don't care for the restriction game.
The biggest difference today is i get tons of perks and crowns of equal value, wtf is peeps problem? you know what i used to get when i subbed not so long ago, i got to log in, that's it!

When you start money (gold) is an issue.

And without gold you cannot update the bags on your horse, character inventory space, bank space. When you have the money to buy a horse of course.

One thing you can do - and you need to do it at some point anyway - is to learn the Provisioning skill. Food / drink is a key boost. Doing the daily crafting quest will provide gold that will go a long way to updating e.h. horse inventory every day. Maybe upgrade speed on your main character and inventory on any alts you make.

Only 1 character needs to learn the recipes - at the first tier there are 6 that can be bought from cooks / brewers in Inns. So one character makes the food and puts some in the bank. Your characters collect what they need that day and turn in. Don't bother spending skill points to upgrade to a higher tier initially.

Even if you sub you will want to upgrade your alts horse abilities.
