Play with friends regardless of faction?

Ok so I hear that you can play with friends regardless of faction but PvP is a different story. My Question here is though just to make sure, can I still quest and do dungeons with my friends if I'm on a different faction.
The acronym MMORPG use to mean Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game.

But the acronym MMMORPG now currently means Microscopic Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. Kappa.

    Yes everyone PVEs together everywhere now since the lat major update.

    But for PVP you choose your faction per character at character creation. So if you also want to PVP together all of you need to choose the same faction for at least the one character you'll PVP with.
