meridian 59 once in awhile. . UO still once a year.. . it never closed. A few people I know play it during the Christmas break each year for fun. .. or nostalgia
Umm , not sure which UO you have played , but ive been playing for 19 years , and it hasnt closed down yet
OH MY GOD lol I just assumed after a short break that since my friends all started playing on private servers, it must have shut down!! WHAT HAVE I BEEN DOING WITH MY LIFE?!?
Currently Playing:
Fallout 4 (Xbox One)
Puzzle Pirates (PC) Dreadtooth on Emerald Ocean
"Dying's the easy way out. You won't catch me dying. They'll have to kill me before I die!"
Not playing A Tale In The Desert right now but I might play it again the next time a tale starts.
I want to help design and develop a PvE-focused, solo-friendly, sandpark MMO which combines crafting, monster hunting, and story. So PM me if you are starting one.
Everyone keeps asking me to come back to Mabinogi but my best friend lost her account with a yahoo mail purge and our team is just not the same without all it's members. I played that game for so long people in real life call me by my game character name instead of my irl name. I did return long enough to watch Fergus step in for Nao for April Fools.
Haven't been seriously playing any MMO now, they all seem terrible, however on occassions: SWG would be the oldest and DDO sometimes (pushing 10/11 years or something)
I hop from MMO to MMO depending how I feel that day. Oldest. WoW since launch but now only when they add content I like and then only for a month or two. GW1 every once in awhile. L2 every once in awhile.

I played Anarchy Online for a bit earlier in the year, checking out the new engine, and the new starting area. I was mostly running around looking at all the old places I used to play.
Don't really go back to many games, I've never returned to WoW after I quit in 2006 for example. Looking for a new future mmorpg. Saving time and stamina for it.
Ultima Online! i would still play it if there was a decent server still .... i played OSI servers till they split the land think it was age of shadows ... played several free servers but they always end up going to shit with neon bullshit and pot throwing scritpers if there was a good T2A server with decent population id still play
Most of the games I want to go back to no longer exist outside of unfinished/and/or laggy private servers Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine, The Matrix Online, Starwars: Galaxies, etc.
Then there are ones that have changed so much that I no longer recognize them like WoW
The rest I go back to for only a short time out of nostalgia but I get saddened by how empty they are now and leave again Anarchy Online, Mabinogi
Right now I'm not playing anything. I still try new games but nothing holds my interest for very long.

Seeing how devs now want free handouts and cash shops, the future of choice does not look good.
