Ok going to get a different motherboard in case it was a driver issue that caused the last problems. My price range is 75$ and this is what I was looking at. AMD ATX FM2+
I got the MSI Grenade A68 FM2+. It was $50 and included a $20 or $30 mail-in rebate, which I never send in. It runs perfectly.
I had the slightly newer A78 from MSI, but it was HORRIBLE for my AMD FM2+ chip with GPU on the chip, and kept crashing at varying times, and I bricked TWO of the same board doing BIOS updates to make it more compatible with my chip.

ASRock had a bad reptuation for a while, but my current MOBO is an ASRock and it's been going steady with no problems and a hefty OC on my CPU, for... oh three years now?
I love my ASRock... well at least until it breaks, then it'll be "That stupid useless piece of shit! Couldn't even hold an OC for eleven years! Who makes these pieces of junk anyways?!?"

I've always been leary of AsRock because of their build quality, but people who use them seem to have good luck with them for the most part.
I usually use Asus or Gigabyte, I've considered MSI as well, but I don't build many with that brand because i usually find an Asus of Gigabyte with same/similar features for a bit better price.
Asrock is my first choice when it comes to motherboards. I've had great success with them over the years. I can't say the same for MSI. Two years, two boards, two duds. Currently using a Gigabyte G1 Gaming 7 and I only have a few complaints with the board. I can't for the life of me get my XMP profile stable and the UEFI seems sluggish to me. It seems to be an alright product but I wish I had went with my gut and got the Asrock.
An ASRock as per your; $68.99 after a $10 mail-in. It's an AM3 / 3+ motherboard so you would need something like an FX-4350 cpu.
More features and "future proofing" but if you don't plan on any upgrades downstream that probably doesn't matter. It was noticing that the cpu you linked was shown as out of stock that made me think of options.
I've had good luck with ASRock, 3 builds and zero problems. MSI on the other hand have been horrid for me.

Ok this is the MOBO I'm looking at. The problem is the blue cooler thing right next to the pci 3.0 slot. It looks like it would get in the way of a dual slot video card.
Hard to get a clear angle on it, but it looks to be about the same height as the slot which would make it clear. Think you'll be fine. That would be a pretty poor bit of oversight if they put a cooler on there that would preclude using a dual slot. Especially on a board that has a higher level chipset.
A GPU will clear the cooler fine, even dual slot. However, is your case a micro case? I'm not a fan of putting micro boards in larger cases. You're just screwing yourself on space and thermal regulation for no real advantage if you're putting that board in, say, a mid tower.

Just keep in mind that is a matx mobo. The Gigabyte mobo you posted before was an atx mobo, so make sure it will fit in your case.

Ok I'm looking at the supported CPU's and even though its the same socket the board doesn't support the x4 845. I'm guessing it isnt smart to try? Matter of fact nothing that ASRock sells supports that CPU.

Ok for some reason they are using the model numbers for oem chips. So the one I have actually has 2 different model numbers for the same chip. So its safe.
