I spent way too much money on that game. I was a founder, spent a lot of money on it, then got screwed over with the Serendia server bug. Lost a lot, took them months to make it up to me, grinded a ton, and eventually decided the game was not worth spending money on outfits other then the beginner ones, having to pay for pets for convenience, paying to reset my horse so I could squeeze yet another foal out of it. The game is a money grab. No Thanks. Will stick with FFXIV now. I spend my $15 a month and that is it.

That's where impulse control comes in. Instead of buying it all at once, spread those purchases out over time.
I haven't bought the horse breeding resets yet, but I was just thinking the other day... on other MMOs, you'd be spending that money on store mounts anyway. I might invest in a few once the T9's come out though.
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

Hell no.
Level 60 seems pretty impossible. I'm happy with 57 after my 6 month break. Witch awakening skills are pretty darn badass.
