remember when mmorpg.com said that RB would get to us by the end of the week... yeah I thought it was a joke too. Why do you guys think we will get them tomarrow if they havnt given us anything yet, obviously going against their word. Yes, I realize they have alot to do, but when a company says they are going to do something by a certain time, for gods sake fallow through. Its just irresponsible.
what does the end of the week actually mean? I mean im really glad that we got a date now thats awesome. But Does that mean like Starting Monday? or some time late today?
well RB has to contact MMORPG.com staff in order to do anything with the info they want to give us, even if they work on weekends how do you know there's any staff on during the weekends? It took the staff FOREVER to respond to our requests about information from our contest winnings... it could just be that RB can't reach us through MMORPG.com....

Id imagine at this stage of development its not like flicking a switch to let 180 new folks into the beta... so I guess we will have to continue to be the most patient contest winners in history for now.

We have heard back from RedBedlam today stating that all of the contest winners will be receiving an email explaining the next step by the end of the week. Technically this is second hand information, it's not the Dev's word at all. Just have some dern patience. RB will need to make up NDA's for all of us, prepare positions for us in the game etc.
Just.. go buy a new book, or spend a few days out in the sun etc.
Some people have been waiting 3 years for this beta. You can wait a few more days/weeks. (And yes I'm one of those waiting too)

My opinion on the statement was that they meant "within a week" rather than "by the end of the week" if the contest winners haven't gotten their mail yet. But, everyone shouldn't all be in such a rush to get in and test, that they start whining about having to wait a few more days or weeks.
