Dieting by forgetting to eat . Happened to me a lot I actually lost weight playing, weight I had difficulty losing by exercise alone because damn exercise made me hungry and then I played some game got so engrossed and forgot to snack voila lost weight.
Hey now, I call foul, I gain weight when gaming too much.

games help to relax after a hard working day... by the way, some people say that dota2, AAA games are addictive but I think that it is not true. Gaming is not gambling like slot casinos or something like that. I play my ps4 games with great pleasure and I spend 20-40$ for several month. It is not a big deal, I guess.
Bring families together with a common interest. People have found life long friends. People have met and gotten married. Not as expensive as some other forms of entertainment. Meet people from all over the world.

I should add, to me video games are just entertainment. They don't provide stress relief or make me forget my problems, they are just a part of the entertainment arsenal.

Gaming is a social network and humans are social beings. It's not like we can pick fleas out of each other's hair and eat them for group communication events. But hay if you're bored of gaming I'm willing to try anything.
Well, gaming is a friendly addiction;) I am not talking about risky entertainment, I am glad that I can enjoy playing The Witcher 3, Fall out 4 and other epic games. Modern developers create awesome "software" for us. Thanks god that we can dive into the other worlds to rest...
