imageBioware Reveals (Not Much) About Its New Game, Anthem - MMORPG.com News

Bioware had a brief moment in today's EA Play conference. Its still pretty-much-unannounced game at least has a name. Called "Anthem", we got a tiny hint from a single line, "The wall protects us from what lies beyond". From what was said during today's event, more will be revealed on Sunday, June 11th at 2:00 pm Pacific / 5:00 pm Eastern during Day 2 of EA Play.

    I like what I see there, which obviously isn't much. The art style looks good though and im interested to see what that creature was. Hopefully we get some solid info and footage at the Bioware presser.

    I tend to think the whole anger over it is either pirates who feel targeted by it, or just plain PC purist mob mentality rage over something people don't feel needs to be put into a game because it steals 50mb of their precious RAM.

    I know many people don't but for me its full of uncertainty of how to fully remove it and all data from your system ( I emailed Denuvo Support) they never replied back to me with 4 different email tries over various months, and just like Game Guard, or XingCode, I won't have games running 3rd party agreements I don't trust on my PC I know a few popular games are running it, but I have to say even though I respect game developers who make great games (I would rather trust a illegal crack) made by an unknown party over Denuvo DRM because they often don't have any agreement or install additional files...

    And the fact that Denuvo themselves got hacked, as well as what I read on a Reddit page that says Denuvo used illegal unlicensed software, is enough for me not to trust possible security flaws on my own system just because some game company wants to cry over intellectual property violations on a game that is going to get cracked anyways.

    I personally think its better for the paying customers and game companies if they trust in people to support their game of course there are going to be pirates, but I am glad to buy my games and support sites such as http://www.gog.com/ which sell DRM Free Games, and I hope after all this with Denuvo game developers such as upcoming games like this one won't have it.

    Im also not the only one that feels this way about these games developers make so I really hope that in upcoming games they will respect people like "The Witcher" series has DRM Free and still sells millions of copies.

    Keep in mind, that's his thing. Every game he is always fixated on such things.

    Yeah, Pacific Rim was my first thought too.  And I'd be fine with that.  If it's well done.....

    If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
