Blue and I just finished Act I and I ran a couple bounties and hit 70. I think I'm just going to run bounties and rifts until the new season starts. It's much more fun running through the story in a season for me and running rifts/bounties off-season.
I don't even run the story in seasons. >.> I just fire up Adventure Mode on whatever the one after Normal is and get cracking on bounties. Once I get to 25, I ramp it up to the next, at 40 the next and at around 55-60, Torment 1. I always play Hardcore too. Might as well go for the whole enchilada, no?
What is up with all the POE comments? People whine about the $15 yet if you play POE you end up spending a lot more than that.
I enjoyed playing the necro, there are a lot of different ways to play the class.
What the f...
If you talk about only $15 for DLC and not including costs of base game and expansion pack, then with the same analogy I can say that in PoE you can play 100% content for free.
How about that?
Sorry, but thanks for the laugh, if you play POE you are going to spend a lot more than $15 on it.
Played PoE for years now, never needed to spend money on the game to enjoy new content. Especially when we're pertaining to brand new classes. However, I've often thought of finally support the GGG team by purchasing one of the higher tier support packs for providing me with the best hack and slash game created to date.
Fabulous. You like PoE. That's great! I mean it, truly.
But the same can be said for Diablo 3 -- some people prefer it to other games in the genre. There's nothing wrong with that either.
Well that works for folks who play casually on the Standard server to a degree, Anyone playing POE seriously as it was meant to be played(and i say this loosely as meaning as meant by GGG for them to make money) , Competeing in the Leagues and Ladders Must spend money ....On the assorted Stash tabs , the rest is fluff .. but this is there bread and butter
People losing their mind's over a $15 DLC for a game. Really? It is buy to play. Just don't pay for it if it bothers you. I would bet most people complaining do not even play the game to begin with. On a personal note I love the class and the extras that came with it. I still prefer my Crusader over the Necro but the variety of gameplay is fantastic.
Agreed, I'll gladly admit I pretty much despise any isometric ARPG. Yet I see no point in complaining about such a DLC. Seems to be mostly GGG fanbois doing so though which I'd say that game is just as bad as the rest of them, free content or not. OF those I've tried it had the worst combat.
Free doesn't make up for that to me. AT least D3 looks like it has good combat mechanics and a solid foundation for it. POE? Not so much. Hell even Titan quest which is ancient was a better game all around ( I did give that one a fair shot since I love Greek Mythology).

Sorry, but thanks for the laugh, if you play POE you are going to spend a lot more than $15 on it. Nothing wrong with supporting a game you like. I know I have spent at least $40 on stash tabs alone.
how? the only thing that people remotely consider "needed" are stash tabs. all you need to do for free stash tabs is make a second account. GGG allows you to run up to 2 clients(and have as many accounts as you want) at once.....so can easily mule the old fashion way and never have to spend a dime
also 15 dollars isn't bad for the content diablo 3 is offering.

Must be a drag waiting for a turtle to catch up.

I love how everybody focusses on the Necro alone, you don't pay 15 bucks for 'just' the class, you get 2 char slots, 2 stash tabs and some cosmetics too.
2 char slots and 2 premium stash tabs in PoE set you back 140 points, or 14 bucks. So, for just ONE buck Blizzard threw in the Necro class and you got the cosmetics for free, cheap eh?

Meanwhile in PoE, you will get, what?, SIX new acts, a redesign of difficulties etc etc FOR FREE. Blizzard would gouge you for at least 40$ for that...
Except for the fact that you are wrong and Blizzard has actually ALSO released a couple of zones for free and not for the first time.
I won't even start on the production values and how they compare, I love PoE but the Necro alone has more armor sets then all the chars in PoE combined. Its not hard to see where the money went and why they charge you for it.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.
It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.
It is just huge resource waste....'
