I'm looking for a new game I can play solo. It can be online or a single player rpg.
Anything can be fine: pvp, pve, survival, etc. I don't want a lobby-shooter like PUBG (which I enjoy) BF or CoD, though.
I've had a lot of fun with The Division for more than a month, but need to take a break now. Even that game is open world enough. I like the progression, getting gear or leveling skills. I even liked the story well enough.
What I have played is: TES III, IV, V and TESO, the Witcher 1-3, and I don't think there is any new or old mmorpg I haven't tried.
The Division was a nice re-discovery for me this summer. Seems like the game was a lot more fun for me than it was when I tried it last year. I've also picked up Citadel and Dark & Light, because just looking for an open world. But I haven't really gotten into those much yet.
Any suggestions?

Shadow of Mordor
old, gold cheapie Kingdoms of Amalur
Diablo III if you haven't. Story is okay and once adventure mode is unlocked you can run rifts or wander around zones or whatever. Definitely a love/hate game though
I've always enjoyed the Fallout world.

Assassin's Creed. Black Flag if you like sailing and pirates.
If you really like sailing and pirates, Naval Action, but it has fallen off.
If you like sailing, pirates, and Warhammer, Man O' War: Corsair.
Just Warhammer... Mordheim.
Back to the Ubisoft stable, Watch_Dogs and Watch_Dogs 2 are both good and open-ish. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is very fun and open
Not all of these are really open world games, but at least as much as The Division is. Which I also enjoy a lot.
I'm done now.
I've got most of these guys dormant in my Steam library except for the Watch_Dogs and Ghost Recon.
I even messed around with with Two Worlds 2 a bit. It's so bad but good at the same time.
