With the launch of World of Warcraft: Legion 7.3 update, Shadows of Argus, players are now off on an interplanetary jaunt to take the fight to the Burning Legion. Once and for all, we are told, the threat from the Legion to Azeroth will be ended. We've found five pretty interesting things about 7.3. See if you agree.

So actual items that tick me off:
*Ship is too big. Playing a DK, it's miserable using NPCs for various tasks. Let us mount!
*Treasure boxes poof way too quickly. If I'm killing a big group that I trained to the box, I should damn well get to loot the box, not the other jerks who run past me, loot and leave their trained mobs on me too.
*Frustrating terrain. Seriously, enable flying. There are too many mobs, ridges you can't climb, and rivers/lakes of Fel that annihilates players.
I'm so disappointed in what they introduced, I'm on the fence about continuing to play right now. There are a lot of other games out there that could be less frustrating while we wait on Blizzard to launch their next expansion.
I really do like WoW. I come back to the game every expansion at some point in time... please fix the new area so it's a little more tolerable...
Agree I do,
makes my eyes sad it does
lol +1
I'm also looking forward to seeing the ending cinematic.
Did they make them "easier"?

Really looking forward towards the next expansion.
New zone feels like too much of a chore. If I have to be honest Tanaan Jungle was quite a bit of fun, especially if you compare it to this one. Perhaps if they allow flying it would be better, but I doubt they will do it in the next 2-3 months.
Agreed. Unimaginative landscapes and grindy content seem to be par for the course now, as well as completely insipid storylines. Oh, and content lifted from Diablo 3. I almost punched my monitor when they lifted 'The Butcher' from D3 in WoD. Exact same fight, and he even spouts some of the same fucking lines during the fight. Sorry, but I'm not paying $15 / month for rehashed, recycled, lazy, unoriginal crap like that. Maybe I'm just crazy, but I expect a company to EARN my money.

I don't know what your beef is, dude. (Or are we saying bro now?) Blizzard knows what players want. AND on top of that, they, and only they, know the best way to play their game. Get with the program, man (1960-70s version of dude/bro).
And yeah, this is a double helping of snark because you totally nailed where Blizz's head is these days. It's almost as if the fail of Project Titan sucked every last ounce of creativity out of them and all they can do is retread stuff that wasn't that good the first time around.
The best EQ / WoW clones at least try to add stuff to keep people engaged. Yeah, a lot of it isn't terribly good or innovative, but at least they're trying, which is more than I can say for Blizzard.

and they thought he was joking...
But, everyone must admit that the gift rejection was pretty cool.

Currently: Games Audio Engineer, you didn't hear what I heard, you heard what I wanted you to hear.
At least there are decent alternatives that people can play these days during the barren times - this being the last patch despite Blizzard saying that they had listened to peoples' concerns about lack of added content ...... again.
I cannot see them moving to the paid content (but optional sub) system that Zenimax have (had to) adopt for ESO though. If they did they would have to take new content seriously and no new content would mean no money coming in.
1) Get rid of the stylized 2003 graphics for some more realistic ones that take advantage of new technology
2) 4k textures on everything
3) go back to being super difficult, bring back talent trees, glyphs, remove all forging and the RNG, make legendaries legendary again.
4) Do all these things and call it WoW 2
5) No longer be super inclusive with their game to program for the lowest common denominator player
Yeah, they won't so. good bye to WoW. In the meantime I am playing on a private server and having some fun, but patiently waiting for Ashes of Creation and Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
The content could be a 10/10 but i levels alone makes it all a load of crap to me.Such a lazy design,it really bothers me how the entire industry is looking to make cheaper games, cutting corners and people keep supporting it.
Announce housing, announce no instances, announce real living features like you would expect a character to have.
I personally am not buying into anymore 1990's game design,we are well past that stage, time to put out some effort, i want to see games/content worthy of 2017.
Two things important to me,i will never ever play another I level game nor a game with yellow markers over npc heads,if a developer doesn't understand immersion i have no use for that developer.
