A good patch ....

and only *** crickets *** here on the forum.

I like how the story starts to progress more. Problem with it is that 95 % of the Elite pilot do not personally feel much of the story themselves unless they are in the hardcore group of explorers who like to solve Frontiers (technological) riddles.

Its not like in other MMOs where the main story progression is laid out before you in a gold plated highway with quest givers lined up to shout your next necessary moves into your ears.

I haven't had a chance to update the game on steam since used up bandwidth on other stuff. But really looking forward to playing next month.

ELITE is my favorite space game. You can even explore planets and stuff which is awesome. Surprised it isn't more popular here, since it has a lot of mechanics/features/theme etc that MMORPG.com users always ask for lol.

Got the game.  Tried it out for awhile and thought, this is going to take some focus to get the hang of.  Haven't been back.  But I do that.  Will leave a game for awhile then suddenly come back to it and play it like there's no tomorrow.  At the moment I'm leveling alts in GW2 PoF.

Tbh, that was why I didn't stay with ELITE past the 18 hours I tried. Though maybe different reasons slightly. I didn't quit. I tried it, and said "okay wow, this is going to take commitment. There are sooooo many controls to remember and I'm even using a controller."...restarted five or six times because kept forgetting how to do stuff (controls) and forgetting how to drive around planets and I wanted to keep doing the tutorial to remember lol. 

Its still my favorite space simulator despite not really getting that far into the game lol. Its my favorite because how realistic it is, and how great of a game it is. So while I haven't really played too much, I could already tell its my perfect type of game.

However, next month gonna give it a serious try. Not happy with BDO cause I feel like gotta spend so much on the cash shop (pets/outfits/etc...outfits are optional but characters look 100 times better with outfits...pets kinda required lol). ELITE is just the game and the season pass.

Amazing patch! Best right after Guardians with Powerplay coming right behind it.

Can't wait for 3.0. Incoming space legs and atmospheric flights!
