Looking for a mmorpg with..Pet raising elements.

Looking for a mmorpg with pet raising elements, preferably where the pet is a vital part of your damage or support ability, Also prefer it not to be like rappelz where you can use a pet way above your level, as this makes teams not willing to take you if you don't have X level pet. Suggest any you happen to know of. Thanks all.

Being a pessimist is a win-win pattern of thinking. If you're a pessimist (I'll admit that I am!) you're either:

A. Proven right (if something bad happens)

or

B. Pleasantly surprised (if something good happens)

Either way, you can't lose! Try it out sometime!

I play Riders of Icarus from time to time because pets can be flown, ridden, and can fight with you.   You can only tame a pet up to your level.  Cash shop heavy, everything geared for you to buy stuff to make leveling and taming easier.  But overall an OK game.  Get it on their site or Steam.

Well as long as its not "pay for uber gear with godly stats, or costumes with stats, aka pay2win" I can deal with pay 2 progress faster stuff.

Would like to see an mmorpg breed and raise pets like an EA sims game but alas there is nothing out there that even tries.  Just finding a pet heavy game, where they don't follow you around as useless cosmetics or are forced on you in a skill line, is close to impossible.  I played Mabinogi for years just because pets.  Pets would make the big moneys if corporate had a clue - big clue:  Pokemon franchise.  Dumb corporate.  Dummer investors.

OP, level based games are the curse of every other thing besides level based game play. It kills such content desires.

And there's always WoW hunter.  It can take a long time to tame those rare exotic flying pets, they're like status symbols mostly.

RoI can be fun which is why I return to it from time to time. Most animals in the wild are tamable, have stats, and can be armored up.

Realm of the Mad God has pets with skills that contribute to combat but it is a MMO not MMORPG.
