Today is N7 Day, the annual celebration of the Mass Effect series. In honor of the 10th anniversary, BioWare has released a moving tribute to the game with interviews with key members of the development team and more. It's an emotional roller coaster, however, given the fact that the series is on an indefinite hiatus after a less-than-stellar reception of Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Perhaps the big game studios will focus more from now on on merit rather than "diversity".
STOP STOP STOP!
FFS can't we have ONE thread celebrating a brilliant series without the political garbage?
The discussion is supposed to be about your favorite moments in game, not a condemnation of what YOU perceive as the failings of the final game. Rather than criticising, how about you tell us all about the parts you DID enjoy instead of only focusing on those you didn't.
ON TOPIC: My epic moment:

Agree.
Celebreting 10 years of ME looks like one last karaoke on Titanic right now.
Favorite moment? The final confrontation with the Illusive man in ME3.

I would love to that a physical collection of ME on PS4. That would be a nice 10th anniversary celebration.
While I understand that the whole thing should have been a celebration of the series, it ended up becoming a eulogy.
Btw, do we pretend ME:Andromeda doesn't exist, or we try to find some good moments in that game? For ME:A I'd say that mechanically it played better than the previous games (combat, movement, vehicles). However, it was tied to a weak story and a weak delivery method (manequine looking actors, known problems etc.).
@Iselin: Bioware certainly did something right by detaching themselves from the people that killed the series.
Other than manveer I don't think they really had much political stuff.

My favorite moment was meeting wrex in me3, especially since I almost got him killed in the first game. Worst was getting tali'zorah killed in me2, even more annoying since I never made a manual save throughout the game series so couldn't recover her.
I can't comment on ME:A since I never felt like playing the game so its more like five years of mass effect for me.
I remember the girl in the hospital who was always asking for a gun. It got so interesting I kept coming back to hear the rest of the story. It was worth it.

Bioware sold their soul to EA and EA butchered them, yet mmorpg.com expect us to celebrate n7?
It's like celebrate Nazi Germany back in the early 30s how good they did for the common people, how much work they created how much the economy started to grow and forget what happen after 1939.
Companies burn bright and languish as do writers, artists, dancers, and every other human creation under the sun. To say that the entire ME series is in ANY way diminished by what YOU perceive as BW's downfall is inaccurate at its very core.
I've no love for EA and I feel that BW has gone precipitously downhill since its glory days, but many of the games they have created are some of the best ever and the artists/developers who created them should be celebrated.

A far cry from Ryder who just took whatever was thrown his/her way.

Anyway my best memory is from Mass Effect 2, especially when you go on a "date" with Garrus in the Citadel and shoot disks with yuor sniper... let's just say that all Garrus love story is amazing and i really enjoyed it even if i'm male.
One of my all time favorites is healing the Krogan Genophage in ME3. Wrex has been my favorite since ME1. All 3 games I've always sided with him and the Krogans. Like Tyrion Lanister, I'm a champion for the downtrodden. So I naturally never went along with the Salarian Dalatrass's plan to sabotage the cure. I loved telling Wrex and the krogan female of the deception by the Salarian Dalatrass. Further cementing my bromance with Wrex and gaining the trust of the reserved but wise Eve.
Our mission was dire, chances of success were slim. But ultimately we summoned the mother of all Maws Kalros, and used her to crush the reaper opposition parked at the gate of the shroud. The ensuing battle of the titans damaged the shroud. Leaving precious time to apply the panacea to the shroud delivery system. You rush in with your long time and trusted friend Mordin. You have a very tear jerking goodbye as your friend sacrifices his life to undue a sin of the past.
Afterwards, the Krogan are healed. Ending the Genophage that cursed them. With the help of Humans, Salarians, Turrians and clan Urdnot. A new and revitalized Krogan get a second chance and a real reason to join the Reaper war. The sacrifices that day will ultimately bring the needed peace after this war. Clan Urdnot will never forget. Eve makes sure of that.
The cherry on top is when Wrex tells Eve that if they have a little girl he wants to name her Mordin LOL!!!
A lot of people love their Garrus bromance. Which is also awesome :-) . But mine was always with Wrex.
