Hi I bought the 50 usd explorers pack at bout beta time for bdo, I was a
bit overwhelmed at first to the game and didnt like how the auctions
worked with capped prices.
To explain further I like to in mmo's resell things for profits ingame,
it keeps me busy.but the fact I had issues on the auction house with
this deterred me a little bit.
How is the game right now and is it possible to return as a completely new player?
How is the population? Any advice what server to re join on or anything else?

^ Perhaps Pay 2 Advance Faster I believe they do sell loyalty to free players but its like 1 slot which takes over 1 year to get all just using loyalty and then you have to sacrifice other items too.
For all the content you get in this game for free and the amount of stuff the company gives you every day, to whine about inventory space makes you seem awfully entitled.
Think of these as money mules, while they play their regular accounts.
If I played BDO I would consider setting something like that to passively generate income while I was offline or busy on another account, especially if only $100 to set up.

Obviously, most people don't have a UPS system, or even know what that is let alone the proper household wiring basic understanding to have their PC grounded in the first place at least many I meet don't so I ask them how many watts are you pulling "I Don't know" they say.
Even when I am gaming with PUBG on a 1080TI I use about 441 watts per hour depending on the actual RAM load can easily go above 500 an hour.
I also got monitoring software installed that detects power usage and calculates based off custom energy rates and running BDO 24 hours isn't that bad as if you think of it this way you would spend over $20 buying gold from a 3rd party illegally on WOW for example or just $10 getting Millions yourself for free leveling fishing, trade skilling at the same time.

The problem with returning is if you are competitive. You will never catch the cheaters and exploiters who can literally throw billions around and not care.
If you are one of those players who loves grind, and are not competitive, and doesn't mind it being a themepark, then go for it. It still has that beautiful world .

I played for a long time multiple 56+ toons 1- 59, and I am slow but I finally realized how ridiculous the gear progression system is. To spend 3 months grinding to get a chance (only to fail most of the time), to go from tri to tet, then start the whole process over and over again, Is TO ME, why I wont go back. It is just the most WORTHLESS grind I have EVER played in ANY game. Have fun to all who enjoy it, but for me...I have been on that "hamster wheel" for the last time. One last thing on these "BIG" money making posts...you can make 10m/hr. doing this and this....you can....but when it costs you almost... HALF A BIL...to TRY to upgrade your equipment...10 mil an hour is not much...now is it!!!
You're welcome.

Well, that's what "I" do as I'm done with enchanting.

As for market, it's a buyers market. It's never in your benefit to sell. The only reason most things even make it on the market is the group loot system.
As for server, you will have 30 days on Olvia exp boosted servers as a returning player. There is no reason not to be on them.
Though, if anything, it's a sellers market because there aren't 25 Pen Kzarka weapons and 52 Tet boss armor anything ....
There are always a "few" of the good items with some of the higher level items very scarce. They always go quickly.
So if I'm a seller and I have something good to sell I'm not too worried as it's going to go very quickly.

The first thing you tell someone new, if you are being honest at the time is buy gear. It's simply cheaper than enchanting your own.
