Rift Prime, what to play

MMOman101MMOman101 Member UncommonPosts: 1,787
I did not play Rift until it was out for a few years, and I have not played in about 2 years.  I was wondering what classes combinations would fit my play style.

I think I want to play a class that can heal.  What is the best healing class mix for PvP, Instances, Soloing?

I really don't want to make a bad choice as I worry after the in initial player bump it may be hard to level players.

Thanks in advance for any information.

When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.”

No info?  I guess everyone who knows about the prime servers is playing the game and not haunting these forums.

With Rift, there's "specs" or soul combinations you can use and change whenever for the price of in-game money. Each class can pretty much do everything over a period of time (some souls are locked by ingame currency for the prime server). If you want a lot of healing options, go cleric since it has about 3 different methods for healing.

Cleric is your best bet this point of time very strong heals and can solo pretty well.

to me its Mage-Cleric-Rogue-War when it comes to solo, some builds with Chloro can kick ass in DPS and do great group heals when you join RIFTS and zone events

If I remember from launch if you went Cleric, your only viable DPS was melee shaman, Cabalist and Inq became better as it progressed, so not sure where they are now
