Star Trek Online News - The Star Trek Online team just keeps pushing out good news for players and for fans of the Deep Space Nine universe. In the latest blog post, the team has announced that the Cardassians (NOT the Kardashians thanks goodness!) are coming as a playable race for both the Klingon and Starfleet factions as part of the Victory is Life expansion.

    Well, it's obvious that Gene copied the Kardashians when he was creating the Cardassians.  Typical!

    That immediately sprang to mind when I read the title. A bunch of expletives came to mind, mostly related in some way to the f-bomb, about pop culture poisoning my geek culture. It's such a horrible association to have stuck in my mind.
    Choking on my Wheaties comes to mind ;)

    I left the game to never look back when i saw one model for  all.
    You don't take one of my fave brands growing u pas a kid and turn it into a lazy cheap game.

    Didn't take long after i saw the models,soon i came to the elevator that was a non working elevator,just a warp i was like ok the effort put into this game is zero,i'm out.
    I am a way bigger trek fan than a SW fan ,so yeah it bummed me out seeing this trash effort.

    Don't you gender identify them.  They have just as much right to have as many sexes and combinations as they're capable of coming up with, as us.

    yay! another race that has to join the feds or klingons and isnt independant or a true cardasian!! a cardassian in a starfleet uniform? really? sigh smh

    Okay.  The basic questions.  Do we acquire Cardassians from loot boxes?  Is the Cardassian neck-trick emote only a loot box item, or can it also be purchased directly from the store?

    I really shouldn't have to ask these questions for you, but you're welcome.
