I just started playing Neverwinter and actually enjoying it. Players are everywhere so the game is really popular. Worth a try if you have not played it.
Neverwinter is a good game , with well done classes , nice combat , and engaging Story lines , then at some point you start to see and feel the effects that still rumble thru the game that to this day, Cryptic are still trying to find AD dumps and nerfing the ways to earn it from the effects of Caturday , It still to this day has a tremendous effect on the game and they should of rolled back that entire week , not 7 hours and handed out shit gift bags to quiet the community ..
It didnt work they have permanetly damaged what is a great game otherwise ..

Blade and Soul and / or ES:O are the obvious answers. But I don't know about the ping you'll have in either of those as a BR player. Modern SWTOR could also be of interest, but again, the ping.
I have a good ping on GW2 and SMITE, something between 200 ~ 210ms. An european server would definitively bother me because I have bad ping on european servers.

If the main reason to leave GW2 is class balancing I would suggest that you get over it and keep playing GW2.

I make this recommendation based on my own experience, though in another MMO. I played EQ2 for many years, had my preferred classes but after class revamp after class revamp I had enough and stopped playing. Which was a mistake because I still liked the game and community.
The developers have to make class changes over the years. MMOs are no static games which get developed once and never change. Sometimes their changes are great, sometimes not. But to have no change at all is not an option for MMOs.

At least you have the chance to go back to a living game which is still actively developed. EQ2 is just on life support by DBG unfortunately.

I just cannot get over that level of incompetence. I play GW2 since 2012 and after every single balance patch they managed to deviate their core principles from their own game. I can't withstand that. It's true what you said though, but you see, high level incompetence mostly destroy games.

One of the reasons I hate pvp in my mmorpg titles is that pvp balance always screws over pve content. I wish they could just keep them seperate.
ArenaNet was doing the same thing they did with GW1, splitting skills in two different versions, but after their last balance patch they un-split many skills and it ruined PvE, PvP and WvW. Congratz to them and their effort to split skills in the first place!

Like they eventually did with GW 1? ;)
Except GW1 is not an MMORPG , even Arena Net acknowledges that.... ;)
Are they still calling GW2 a MMORPG or have they owned up to that too? :)
Ugh GW2 is a MMORPG, and GW1 is a CO-RPG (or something like that, Competitive Online RPG)

ALtho GW2 is a complete shit game IMO and has set the entire genre back ... It is and they do acknowledge as an MMORPG ...
I'm curious, why do you thing GW2 is a complete shit and a drawback to the entire genre? IMO GW2 has a lots of pros, or at least had if you know what I mean.

GwW 2 is literally the Batman + Robin of MMORPGs. Gosh, I never saw such a massive hype followed by almost equal dehype. Except with The Last Jedi. Look to what I'm comparing it against. :D
Well most of devs responsible for those awesome ideas left ArenaNet, only Mike O'Brien remains.

Neverwinter is out of question. I played it once and I really hated it. It also happened to TERA. Damn, two MMOs that I can't even think about playing again.

    Have you tried Perpetuum?
It has great PVP, buy-to-play ($5 client), no p2w features, not-great graphics, so it sounds right up your alley!

It is a sci-fi sandbox, player driven economy, open-world pvp, full-loot pvp.  Hope all of that is within your parameters. =)
