You're generalizing, a lot. Implying that everyone here, except you, are sheep - putting yourself on some pedestal of self-fulfilling prophecy. Surely you know better than them. You even know what they think better than they themselves! This shows lack of self-awareness and that you are grossly overrating your self-image. In the mirror only YOU are the enlightened one.

Either that or you are trolling.

Absolutely not, I could go on with more examples, but re-read what I already posted, that STILL tells it all.

If I could be accused of anything at all, it would be I argue with a lot of non-mmorpg players.  But real mmorpg players are millions strong :)

Actually you are THE definition. WHY are you saying what you're saying? So that games YOU want made can get made again? You care not one whit about what anyone else is playing, likes, dislikes, or enjoys. You worry ONLY about what YOU enjoy.

May as well add, "But... It's for the CHIL-DREN!" while you're at it.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.

Not only that, but millennials are waiting longer to have children, meaning that many more millennials have that extra free time than previous generations had in their 20s.

The idea that gamers in general have less time now than before doesn't really have a lot of factual support that I've seen.  The upper-end of the demographic may have less time, sure, but it's counter-balanced by the other end.
Problem is that here is full of grandads who think that everyone else has grandchildren to look after, just like them.

    lol

I love spending time with my grandson and then when I've had enough I just send him home to his mommy and daddy. One of the things I enjoy most is watching my grandson piss off his mommy in the same fashion as she used to piss me off.

    Paybacks are a bitch ;)

    Love them both dearly
Yeah, I'm going to be sure to tell my grandchildren it's perfectly fine to get tatoos, pierce their bodies, and cut/dye/dreadlock their hair anyway they wish, at any age they wish.

After all, that's what their parent's managed to do growing up, must be all OK.
    Hell...

If you want to express yourself and be different than everyone else.... don't get a tattoo.

Everyone and their dog has got them these days ;)

Obviously mine was an hyperbole, actually the real grandads are the wiser ones here, and don't patronize as much as the 'middle aged men in career'.
And I mean all those busy people with careers, kids, dogs, red fish other hobbies and stuff, who complain they have not time, hence no one else has (but still they magically find the time to spend  on this forum telling everyone else that they have no time)

Gamers between 15 to 25 have an awful lot of times in their hands, 25+ is a mix bag.
You have the busy bodies, but you still have people with a job and family that dedicate lots of time to gaming as their only extra activity beyond their responsibilities, then we have people on welfare who live in their basement 24/7, people with disabilities or social anxieties, on part time jobs, people who work from home, all people who have plenty of time.
I could go on with the list.

The claim that people these days have less time than 20 or 10 years ago is ludicrous, or the claim that the use their time differently because today they have more things to do.
    Like what? Facebook, Snapchat?
Before they had TV, Now Facebook...nothing is changed in how people use their time. Gaming is not affected, in fact people playing games and hours spent gaming per head, increased.
Gamers always find time for gaming.
    Stop the BS.

Edit: Jesus, it was meant to be a quick 1 sentence reply, and that's not even aimed at you @laserit :)
People have more free time these days then we've ever had, we don't even need to cook anymore. There are just many more choices on how to spend that free time.

Hell my Grandmother rest her soul, spent almost all of her free time knitting socks and blankets. She just came from a time where your selection of leisure time activities were a lot more restricted.
