It seems they are all mobile but I'm confused considering they were hiring for a "next-generation console and PC MMORPG" based on the Aion IP just a few months ago. Did that get scrapped or is this just another game they're making while they work on the PC game?
Edit: I answered my own question. The last line of the blog post says they're still working on other PC games.
"NC is developing a number of PC online and console games in addition to the mobile lineup that was unveiled at the event."
The naming convention used is terrible at best. So the Aion 2 we've all been discussing for the past 2 years is still a PC/Console Aion IP MMORPG. THIS new game is a sequel to the Aion mobile game that's already out reportedly. Either way it's a mobile game. OUR Aion 2 is still coming out, this one... is just a bad other project we can all ignore. I think calling it Aion 2 is a bad idea because everyone, even the Korean fans, are confused and angry.
That being said, we can all ignore this and wait until news of the PC game comes out, which given how early it is in development, is not likely to be for a while unless we get more leaks.
Maybe we should just start calling the PC game something else instead to avoid further confusion.
Blade and Soul 2 I'm guessing is just Blade and Soul being moved to UE4, the gameplay looks like its on UE4. and B&SM was already announced a long time ago as well. At least it looks like the money saved by shutting down wildstar is going into a harvest moon version of blade and soul....
Blade & Soul 2 is new, unless there was some new PVP mode where everybody could turn into monkey gods and other beasts.
I almost got hype for Aion 2 because I thought PC but, whatever.
At the end of the day it's all Korean, they'll get it, then normal folks will have to wait 2 years to get a NA P2W version the publisher is incapable of managing.
*SIGH*
"As far as the forum code of conduct, I would think it's a bit outdated and in need of a refre *CLOSED*"
Why not? Look at NCsoft's financial reports. NCsoft has 2 mobile games currently and they are making almost twice as much money than all of their PC games combined even though they are only available in Asia.
The Aion is clearly mobile if you go to YouTube and see the obvious aspect ratio (looks like a tall/wide aspect ratio like most newer flagship phones).
