I was looking at new PC releases, and this is hovering at a 93 metacritic with over 30 critical reviews.
From IGN: "Return of the Obra Dinn stands as something wholly unique. An investigative puzzle game with clear goals but completely open ended paths to completing them, it’s a challenging exercise in piecing together a mystery without being spoon fed what to pay attention to. It’s got some small quality of life issues here and there, but the “moment of death” clue-hunting mechanic at its core is an absolute triumph. Return of the Obra Dinn is one of the best detective games I’ve ever played, and now I want so much more of it."
https://www.ign.com/articles/2018/10/22/return-of-the-obra-dinn-reviewSo yea, it sounds like an awesome game, but it's also really retro with a dev-coined "1-bit" graphic style and a very unique gameplay loop. As such, I was hoping one of our illustrious MMORPG.com community members had given this one a go and was willing to share their thoughts for me!

Imho get if you can get it at less than $10, but it's not worth its current price.
I was intrigued by the detective side. I really enjoyed L.A. Noire, and was hoping it might spawn sequels that improved and refined the gameplay. Alas, I don't think it was popular enough to spawn a long-lasting IP.
