Hey so I'm looking for a new MMO. I really enjoyed FFXIV, but I've hit the endgame on multiple jobs, and it's just not that interesting to me anymore. But essentially I'm looking for something in that vein. Group and solo content, good community, fun combat, all that good stuff. I'm not really into the whole action combat thing that's been going on for the last X years too. So yeah. Basically I want a new FFXIV that's not WoW lol. Having some build diversity would be a plus too (FFXIV is extremely linear in terms of progression).

    Just tried out the demo of Project Gorgon. It's definitely janky, but it's approximately what I'm looking for. Ish. Lol Still gonna keep looking for something with more polish.

    I am having trouble sticking with the LOTRO Legendary server.  The problem I am having is the same as what you mentioned.  I just can't seem to do the starter areas again - I never made it to Moria because I am an alt-aholic.  I am going to try to get past where I have made it to in time for the launch of the next expansion on Legendary.

    BUT. . if you haven't played it I would strongly suggest it.  While the Legendary server requires a sub, you could try out the free to play and explore a few races / classes.

    GW2 and ESO are certainly good choices.  EQ on a Progression Server is rather enjoyable to be honest.

    I think we're still in a holding pattern and running out of gas.  Eventually, we'll come crashing down and end up in WOW
