How Much Have You Spent?

Truvidien88Truvidien88 Member UncommonPosts: 462
I really wanna buy at least one cosmetic armor set for one of my characters but I know as soon as I do I'll be wanting to buy more and more. I've seen this happen with my brother. However I don't really wanna run around with a trash can on my head so lol

As others play this game more hardcore than I do I'm curious how much have you guys spent?

I've spend roughly $40 over the years on convenience items (stash tabs, etc.).  Great game...I can't believe its free.

I've only been playing for a few months, so far i've spent about £20 but its not like it was for anything essential, more a case of wanting to support the game. :)

Somewhere between $20 and $40.   From beta to now.   Mostly for space, etc.  Played it a lot, felt I should show them some monetary respect.

If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.

Been playing since Alpha and have spent around a 150 total.

'This does not apply just to ED but SC or any other game. What they will get is Rebirth/X4, likely prettier but equally underwhelming and pointless.

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

    About 180€ so far.

I purchased three support packages in three different occasions. The fact that none of those purchases was forced or necessary and the amount of time I spent on the game justified my decision in my mind.

round 30 or so here played it quite a bit so is trashy not to support it to some degree

So far I haven't spent a dime but I think majority of the sets look amazing not including all the back cosmetics and stuff.

My suggestion to anyone that would like to support this game would be to find a support package that would fit the amount of money that he would spend to purchase the game if it was B2P. Then use the cash shop coins from that package and purchase the specialised tabs that fit currency, shards, maps, etc., during a tab discount period (which from my experience are relatively frequent).

Just started playing last week and see some very awesome characters walking around. I think at first I would spend on Stash Tabs then get some cosmetics just not sure what?

    $0.

It's really awkward to play on a controller, so I didn't stay for long.  It's a shame that they couldn't offer a more versatile control scheme.  The game looked like it might have been good, too.

Id guess about $60 between console and PC. Got some currency/stash/trade tabs. No cosmetic items, just stash related items. I played a few years on PC, then switched to console. Id guess about 1500ish hours combined. For $60 invested in a game, seems like a good return.

They let you use a controller?  I used autohotkey to modify some scripts that let me play using WASD, but I was kicked saying too many mouseclicks.

I used the script to play Diablo 3 and TL2.  No way I'm getting carpal tunnel using mouse only.

Been playing since release, spent nothing for the first couple of hundred hours, treated myself to some stash tabs during a (regular) weekend stash sale, was feeling bad, so much fun for no outlay, brilliant. After  a few leagues and updates it was ok GGG take my money, ran out of things to spend it on, got a discount of what I'd already spent on a supporter pack which included a t-shirt, yes please :) Probably about £90 in total ? I'm at close to 2000 hours now......
