Just in and I couldn’t be more excited, absolutely fantastic news. Even better, it will launch on April 23rd and will be 30 bucks. Good times to be had, an absolute classic!

It is incredibly difficult to design some meaningfull leg content that would fit a space ship game - simply because it is not a leg game.

It is just huge resource waste....'

I serious don't see a reason to be happy about it.

what capcom should do was make a dragon dogma 2, and not keep milking a game they gutted because they thought it would not sell

I must admit I would be even more excited with a DD2 anouncement but they idea of having the first in the palm of your hand makes me very, very happy. That combined with the instant pick up and play ability of the Switch makes it a no brainer for me.

I would love it if they made another expansion or even a Sequel.

Even bringing the "mmo" to the west would be enough for me for the time being..

    Such a great game :/

While nothing major, it's a pretty good and surprising grab. The Switch actually has a fairly solid and growing roster of RPGs, and this adds to that nicely.

It does make me wonder why DD Online never released here, and more importantly, if it is any good (thereby proving the first game wasn’t just a lucky coincidence).

This is the video I watched lately:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfBgkOQ6030

It offers the same combat of the single player and npc companions if you don't want people with you. Sadly, we'll probably never get it here.

Love this game. I already own it on PC and PS4, so getting it on Switch would be overkill (hasn't stopped me before though -- Skyrim). It would be fun to play this game when a lot of others are online. I love that system of renting out other peoples' characters and coming back to see what goodies you got when you log back in.

They left the online part intact for the Switch. Even better, you don’t need an online subscription to use it.

I must admit this will actually be my 4th time buying the game...

This is great news. Loved playing this gem on my PC. Can't wait to get this day 1 on my Switch. The Switch is my favorite console since the PS2. It is so much better than I expected or gave credit to when it was announced.

Its funny but I agree. Lots poke fun at it talking about Switch Tax and Everything is Better On Switch, but to me it really is. I own several games on multiple platforms but the moment I get a switch version I don’t play the other ones anymore, D3, Dark Souls, World of FF Maxima etc. etc. The portability is insane but I love the extremely fast booting and loading times just as much. I am literally in game, playing, 5 seconds after I pick it up, it makes the PS4 and XONE feel like slow and clumsy dinosaurs. Less power? Yes, but to me thats a small tradeoff.

I agree. For me it's great because I didn't own a PS3/Xbox360 or the current line up of consoles. So a lot of these games are new to me and not just ports. When I'm tired or don't feel like sitting at my PC. I can grab my Switch, lay on the couch and enjoy a great game.

I'm so half of my mind about this. It's awesome they remember this gem, but at the same time, why not simply go for Dogma 2? I...damn!

Edit: They're masterworks all, you can't go wrong!
@Gorwe I read that Capcom had the option of making Dogma 2 or Devil May Cry 5. So I guess we 're lucky we got anything from this IP.

That's it. I'm definitely saving up for a Switch. Now I just need to talk to the wife about budget.
Hahaha awesome, you won’t regret it! Just be sure to get a nice big microSD card for it. I bought a 400gb for 99 bucks, and a fast one to boot.
