"the development of the game will put a core focus on combat and community relations."

'Community relations? See my axe? Have a relationship with that!'

The choice of focus does not synergise but the game sounds interesting. :)

Seems like a mix between Don't Starve and Darkest Dungeon to me. Not that's bad or anything just an observation.

Hope they manage to find the sweet spot between pve and pvp. Goodluck to them!

Well, after playing the Anthem demo this weekend, it again just shows that you can have a huge development budget and create the most fancy graphics on top of a turd of a game, but in the end it's still a turd!

So if these devs manage to create a fun and good game with "stylized" graphics, they already doing a much better job than EA/Bioware did.

    After seeing the trailer:
    - user interface screams Path of Exile
    - skill tree screams Path of Exile
    - King Leoric at 0:58
    - Belial at 1:33

    Seriously?

True it seems like they took ideas from other games, but honestly I don't mind. In fact I'm really in intrigued after seeing the skill tree.
Honestly after check this game out it's kinda become one of my top 3 most anticipated for this year. Not sure what that says for the current state of the genre.

I just hope they don't release around some other major release like The Division 2, FF14/WoW Vanilla.

My Exquisite keen eyes for what works in this world tells me- THIS will fail. what a load of overhyped neo innovative load of bollocks. Maybe they should have stuck with making a book or a board game.

I do have to agreed on this game looks more of a browser game than anything. The characters really lacking deep here lol, not in 3d but in 2d paper style spirit, not that is a bad thing just not good enough for an MMO imo.

On the other hand, the top down seeming a mix of ARPG and tactical by design, but unsure how that works in the context of mmo. IT work well for single tactical/arpg games but this goes way back in the days of Ragnarok Online, from there this game is not innovating enough to call it new, just a "the next game" and not new as in never been done before . Granted the art style is the draw here but, game plays looks and feel of Don't Stave Together in a huge mob of ppl kinda way, lol.

If you like that art style then this game might be for you ,however, we all play Blade and Soul or Black Desert for a good reason and why they are on the top rightfully so. Most MMO players of old already played that done that and seen this all too many times. As for younger audiences well its under the dark theme so it in itself is a conflicting contrasting of game design?

So is it aim at older players or younger ones? ONLY one may apply here otherwise, will run short on one side in content. Unless this game company really a game maker and not a money milker, I seriously doubt they are willing to invest further more into this game, see why mobile game looks and play all the same way? Because they are mostly cheaply made, almost the same way of making them too.

why not do some research? They developed Metin 2. The game is HTML5, playable on literally any device. They are targeting a highly specific market.

    Seems interesting.

Wait a minute... browser f2p game and with crossplay on mobile... they could have something good in their hands with this game. IF they don't screw it up with the monetization.

I like their art style though.

this is one of those games that will sell well at release because of its unique style but wont have a long shelf life,it does look intresting though.
