World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth will soon be updated to v8.2, Rise of Azshara. We know that the fight will be taken to the Queen of the Naga, once the Queen of the Night Elves and perhaps the most powerful sorceress ever born on Azeroth. She has been present, though rarely seen, throughout the history of Warcraft games. Players are confronted by her "people", the Naga, as they level up. But who is Queen Azshara? Let's take a look, shall we?

    Since this article pretty much has spoilers, Thrall's back. More on point though, this entire expansion (story included) has felt like watching a 3-legged horse hobble to the finish line. Especially with how they are handling Sylvanas. At this point, I feel the story is just limping along because the voice actors/actresses are all just wanting to retire soon (I can't blame them if that's the case).

    The only spoilers are after the big, bolded yellow letters that say SPOILER ALERT. It's pretty clearly marked

    As for the story (and all the rest), I totally agree. It's just been a terrible expansion and made to seem all the worse after how generally liked Legion was.

    Nope and it's unlikely they will for at least a couple of expansions. Legion allied races are still locked behind reps.

    Even employees I know are done with the game. Apparently 9.0 ain't any better, either. Big surprise.

    Could've sworn I killed Azshara in SSC during TBC then farmed her weekly for transmogs and pets for years during MoP and WoD. Am I mistaken or is that someone else?

    I believe that was Lady Vashj, one of Azshara's most trusted Highborne companions.

    Money must be getting tight over at Blizzard when we get cheap cartoon graphic cut-scenes these days... Nope, still not going back. The game's being systematically wreaked ever since WotLK, Legion gave a glimmer of hope, but that light was soon extinguished though. Oh, well. Enjoy folks. :)

    That video of Azshara is a standalone "movie short" that is part of the Warbringers series. The three shorts came out ahead of BfA and are done in a similar style to the one that came out prior to Warlords of Draenor and Mists of Pandaria. I rather like it for a different take on the usual Blizzard cinematic stuff.

    I have to agree with SBFord and say that the style of the movie shorts was actually quite innovative.
