I hope a separate thread for these servers will be more helpful than tagging onto the original one where its starts out not knowing if they would get up and running 
Basic Info:
- Index to their website: https://forums.homecomingservers.com/index.php Here you can create a forum AND game account, 2 separate accounts. You can also learn about the game and reconnect with other former players.
- They are running up to Issue 24, which was the last Issue (aka expansion) that CoH had running, though Issue 25 was in the works. This means this is NOT a "classic" server, from when CoH launched. It is more of a continuation of when it shut down in 2012.
- They have set up 1000 characters PER SERVER! Alt-o-holics UNITE!
- There are 5 servers to choose from. I think (not sure as they don't label them as such) there is a RP heavy server and an EU server.

I started on the Everlasting server and found old guildmates running on the Excelsior server. Now I'm on that server.

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
