Portal Knights to Receive Its Biggest Update Yet & It Comes with a New Race & Class - MMORPG.com

505 Games and Keen Games have announced that Portal Knights will be receiving its biggest update ever later today. The Elves, Rogues & Rifts DLC includes a new race and class as well as "rifts" that are randomly generated dungeons filled with traps and puzzles. The DLC runs $9.99 and is available starting today. In addition, all players will receive the Questing Update for free that includes the Mage's Guild quest hub, toggle-able public games, a new quest log & more.

Played this with some friends and loved every second of it Might head back one day but right now there's just to much going on with FFXIV ShB, WoW Classic etc. + Summer

I'll "Wishlist" the DLC for when I don't have other gaming commitments as I miss my little house I built. Don't think it justifies a purchase price personaly. With that said it's pretty much the best game to play in the building genre right now next to creativerse (or w/e it's called). Their not a bad bunch of people so you might help some dude eat a pizza tonight for buying it.

Gotta say I'm a little disappointed this couldn't just be an update to the game free of charge instead of trying to squeeze a few more dollars out of this.

To the original topic: Only played Portal Knights on console and didn't hook me. I didn't think it was bad or anything and might have been the control scheme that made it off-putting for me. May have to check this out on PC though. Worth noting that the DLC mentioned is discounted during the summer sale.

I tried the game and it really didn't have much making me want to keep playing. Maybe I'll boot it up and give it another shot, as a lot of people seem to really like it.
