I'm not sure how many times Intrepid told us the BR is a testing environment for the MMO's combat and you all still think its a separate game they are developing... hell you don't even have to be a backer to get in and play and try out the combat, just have a registered account on their website.
Well is it a separate game you can get in and play without being a backer, or is it just a testing environment for the MMO where you need to be a backer (or invited) to test? Your first almost sentence claims one thing and your second half of the run-on claims the opposite. So which is it?
The fact that they planned to have a cash shop with it made me think that, at the very least, it was a separate funding avenue for them if not the start of a completely different game based on player interest / profitability.
That "it's just for testing" thing would be more believable if it were backer-only without a cash shop.
