Dude, the sliding and the body parts disappearing is caused by missing animations, not bad coding, a subject that has been addressed many times by Mcquaid already.
Animations is not a priority at this stage of the game development, and will be fixed further down the line, because so far the priority has been coding.
VR spent lot of time in coding, because Unity is not a MMO engine and has lots of limitations.
They worked closely with Unity engineers to make an hybrid engine that can work in a MMO environment, so the fact that you accuse VR of bad coding because you noticed something that got nothing to do with coding but more to do with animation, it’s ridiculous.
Add to this the game is in pre alpha, and your accusations make even less sense. Give it a rest dude. Wait until you played the game yourself or at least when it’s closer to release before making all those assumptions.

THANK YOU for finally a good response, and you understand the problem. The solution may or may not be fixed, that's where we disagree. One thing for sure, if it will all be fixed.... This game has a Long way to go..... as in five years.
Check out my other topic and see if you can answer "how long does it take to build a world"
If someone can link a video of something current we can look at it and make a decision. Otherwise how can we? Also what passes for fine by me may be questionable for you as I am more of a graphical detail fan (avatars and landscape) than I am of animations.
Fantastic ! Your a great example of the common poster that only sees the basic textures. No one can LOOK and see the obvious flaws. The type that would walk into a car dealership and say, that car looks nice, I'll take it.
Try watching any video presented... Instead of saying cool, try and notice the huge flaws in everything.
Please don't be shallow and say the usual catch all by asking "You have examples ?".
At one time I did pick apart with Examples and it went ignored. I plan on doing it again with the next one..... I'm sure coding and animation will be the same, nothing has been fixed to date.
They literally JUST started to work on animations like few months ago. How do you manage to post a Pantheon thread every other day and pay 0 attention to actual development at the same time... actually never mind, you do you delete5230 (because we all know you will anyway).

Good, then maybe I'll NOT HAVE TO point out the flaws that plagued every video to date with no fixes. Because up until now it's just plain awful.
Good, maybe they can start making the game... because as on now (with years in the making) we have a few test zones.

Did I say years ?... yes I did, well ok then.
Procrastinating with other peoples money !
1, did you give money? 2, I suggest you walk away from this and "if" it launches then come back. you are obsessed and you are not going to have that itch scratched for a long time.

I'm disappointed in the experimentation people are funding. I'm sure many investors were not expecting that.
I chose to go the Saga of LucimIa direction. WERE ALL PLAYING THAT !
If the OP would have ponied up $1 for every whiny post and reply he made, he would have given VR enough money by himself for them to fix all the animations. Heck, the game might even be released by now, and polished to boot !

Well, I gave some money ($100) and I have no issues. I accept the project for what it is. So if you don't have a horse in this race I don't see why you should be concerned.

Good concept, horrific game so far from what I've seen , and it won't be better, ppl just try so hard to defend this game for no reason...and those animations , yeah, pure comedy...now you can LOL and WTF me, it's not easy to hear truth

Maybe we aren't special little snowflakes who really care?
Heck, I play Lord of the Rings Online and that game's animations are horrid. Sometimes it's about a game being more than the sum of its parts.
I think people who support the game are very much aware of its strengths as well as its limitations and they either don't care or they have accepted that it "is what it is."
So you aren't really doing anything other than pointing out what's already known yet making it seem like it's a revelation when it's not.
edit; mah, removing as it's too snarky.

It is painfully obvious to me that anyone complaining about the animations at this stage definitely grew up in the post-CC era (that's post-Clutch Cargo).
Logic, my dear, merely enables one to be wrong with great authority.
Found this random paragraph in among the pub postings.
It's like the key to everything I say: <quote> There is one company atm that is trying to go for broke. Full scale MMORPG with state of the art 3d included. Just look at their development time and where they are at atm. A major public AAA company will never go for this. Their shareholders don't want 10 years development time.
The only thing I would change is:
trying to go for broke change to trying to go broke
