I love Forgotten Realms campaign world, have been since I started playing the Advance Dungeon and Dragons 2nd edition in early 90s.
Played all the SSI games set in Forgotten Realms and ofc all other games set in Forgotten Realms except Daggerdale, heard that one was a complete disaster.
I have just finished Baldurs Gate 2 enhanced edition and was wondering what to play next.
Then it hit me I have Sword Cost Legends, I havent played it since launch, got about 20 hours in back then but got a bug that crashed the game as soon as I logged in, so I shelved it.
Been playing SCL for a while now and they really cleaned up a lot of bugs and released a DLC, to bad the developers closed the studio but it is the closest CRPG I can get today with good graphics.
To bad SCL are not around anymore, I really loved that GM mode you could use and make adventures for CO-OP.
Anyone else played SCL?

Dunno if I will ever play BG3. I dont like Steam. And I bet it will only be available with Steam. Steam was what back then killed my interest in games and whats keeping me from playing newer games ever since.
As for NWN2 the first expansion Mask of the Betrayer is just awesome. Zehir is a different breed, interesting in its own way.
Thanks to GoG, I have picked up Icewind Dale 1&2, NWN 2, and all of the older "Goldbox" games like Pool of Radiance, Eye of the Beholder 1 through 3, and so on.
May I suggest a run through Temple of Elemental Evil (ToEE)? It's not forgotten realms, but the older Greyhawk setting. It is the old starter module "Village of Hommlet" from long ago put in cRPG form

Personally the only modern MMORPG trend that annoys me is the idea that MMOs need to be designed in a way to attract people who don't actually like MMOs. Which to me makes about as much sense as someone trying to figure out a way to get vegetarians to eat at their steakhouse.- FARGIN_WAR
Going to wait for the reviews on BG3 as well....
If you are holding out for the perfect game, the only game you play will be the waiting one.
It may or may not be the game for you.
