Oh yeah, used to read regularly, haven't touched a novel in about 15 years
I have heard this from a lot of older friends and it is effecting me. I seem to take longer to get into them, they don't carry me away as quickly as they used to. We have become terribly jaded and only have to look forward to becoming even more so.

I have heard this from a lot of older friends and it is effecting me. I seem to take longer to get into them, they don't carry me away as quickly as they used to. We have become terribly jaded and only have to look forward to becoming even more so.
I had to move to Audible to actually finish books. Just wasn't a priority to actually pick one up. And honestly still not finishing more than a couple a year at best.

Well that's one solution that probably won't work then. But chin up, give it a few more decades and we will be losing our memory, so nothing will seem jaded anymore.
