I commend Kojima for making the game like he did. Its definitely not for everyone, but honestly not many devs take risks these days, so it should at the very least be respected. Plus no micro-transactions, so that's also a positive. I honestly can't wait to see what else he has planned and hopefully the mixed reception the game has received so far wont deter his vision.
Its also worth noting that many of us have been conditioned over the years to believe that games of all kinds should be a certain way (some of you might even know individuals of the younger generation that believe micro-transactions have always existed in games since they've known them). Hopefully games like these can open the general population's minds up to a more broad way of gaming 'expression' if you will.
I've watched gameplay of Death Stranding on Twitch. It's about as entertaining as watching paint dry, I can get a pizza delivery job in real life and get PAID to do it. They should have released PC concurrent with console, at least then PC players wouldn't have a whole year to realize Hideo Kojima slapped on a game doesn't make it worth a shit.
Worst game ever to watch people play. I imagine it's just as boring to play.
Watching Choice of Robots isnt anywhere near the same as playing it either, because you make choices. Same as any novelesque or adventure game imo.
I think people are missing what's interesting here. As far as I'm aware Epic was unwilling to sell games that weren't at least timed exclusives. Why are they easing up?
The intelligent choice imo.
