It's always so sad to see someone so young taken before their time. At least he made his mark on the world, something that many of us can never boast. If there is something beyond, may the wind forever remain within your sails as you journey onward. Thank you for creating the games that have entertained me for almost two decades.
Everquest took me out of muds and into graphical mmos. Thanks to you for this transition. Travel well in the care of the Dark Lady. You will be missed.
For some reason when they asked for privacy, i have a feeling Brad may have fallen back into some of his old stuff.
Hope not though
Really! because they ask for privacy you seem to think it's some plot to hide something, pathetic person imo. Even if you think that, is it really the time to start a conspiracy.

Sad man.
Hookers, marijuana, coke, lack of exercise, age, McDonalds, blow, cancer, street-fighting, assassination, meth, surgery, murder. Pick a few until they let us know.
RIP.
Now what does that mean for Pantheon? This could go south in many ways now. The mmorpgame that should deliver us from this evil shadow of bad mmorpgs on the roll, is now in grave danger, fuck!
I am so Sad right now! I will always cherish my time in his gaming Worlds, specially Everquest.
I remember my Time in EQ's Beta back then, I was a Level 26 Erudite Wizard named Taki and my memory is very vivid of the day "Aradune" would loiter around Qeynos with his Glowing Swords making us all Oooo and Ahhh.
You will be missed Brad.
My Heart goes out to his Family and the rest of the Gaming Community who found Joy that he brought to so many of us.
Also sad to see that Pantheon: rise of the Fallen will be a legacy for generations of devs to come, maybe they can complete it and make it a functional mmorpg.
Farewell Aradune, now the real adventure begins. I hope you are sitting under a tree on some mystical world on a bright sunny day talking to an elf that happened to be walking pass.
Condolences to his family. I had some fundamental disagreements with Brad on some aspects of MMO design and even had the opportunity to argue with him about it a few times on forums. However, I will say that Everquest came along when I was going through a very bad time in my life and as silly as it might sound it helped to pull me out of it. I got so drawn into that game that it allowed me to put aside my real life problems at least for a while each day which really did help me get through that period of my life.
So Brad, thank you for that and I hope your next adventure is a good one.

You were one of last visionaries of Virtual Worlds. This is a great loss for gaming
